The Queensland government of Australia has recently authorized the construction of a new quarantine camp that will displace infected people and travelers to be isolated.
‘The Honorable[s]’ Annastacia Palaszczuk, Dr. Steven Miles, and Yvette D’Ath, announced the creation of these new facilities on August 26th. They will be built at Wellcamp near Toowoomba, in a partnership with the government and the Wagner Corporation who owns the acreage. It will be near the Wellcamp Airport
This is further action my government is taking to keep Queenslanders safe.
As Australia contends with the dangerous Delta variant, Queensland must have alternatives to hotel quarantine that offer enhanced public safety.
That’s why we’re getting on with building the Queensland Regional Accommodation Centre, a 1000-bed, dedicated facility near Wellcamp airport that will greatly reduce reliance on hotel quarantine.

Once this new facility is built by the Wagner Corporation, the government will take over operation and monitor the facility, according to an official press release on the Queensland Government website.
By the end of 2021, the first stage of the camp should be ready to use.
Following countless leaks from the nation’s hotel quarantine system, it’s clear there is an urgent need for alternative facilities in Australia.
We need a facility like this urgently, and the Wellcamp proposal will be ready months before any other proposed facility in Queensland.
Quarantine facilities will remain one of Australia’s frontline defences in preventing deadly new strains of COVID-19 from entering our community.
This facility will help Queensland to continue to open up and avoid expensive lockdowns.
The Queensland Government will continue to work collaboratively to progress the Commonwealth’s Pinkenba facility, but we need more options to get returning Australians home safer.

With more than one facility in Queensland, we will be greatly reducing our reliance on hotel quarantine.
That means a lower risk of COVID spreading from facilities that were never designed for secured quarantining.

In a separate announcement, Steven Miles made these remarks regarding the new facilities:
According to Australian media sources, Miles said that travelers would be taken there by bus from the Brisbane Airport, conditioned upon if the Commonwealth government decides to not allow flights to land at the Wellcamp Airport.
We currently bus arriving travellers from Brisbane to hotel quarantine accommodation on the Gold and Sunshine Coast, and so that would remain an option to get people here safely.
John Wagner, the millionaire businessman in charge of the construction, said this will help aid a struggling economy and create jobs.
Just by the fact that we have to produce 3,000 meals a day, [the region] will really benefit from this.
As the landlord of this facility to the Queensland government, we are working through the final design criteria to make sure that we have the best fit-for-purpose regional accommodation facility for return travellers that there is in the country or in fact the world.
A report from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation explains that these new facilities, and quarantining in general, will remain active even if the nation meets their goalpost of 70%-80% vaccinated. Neither are these facilities designed to completely eliminate hotel setups.
I think certainly we will need hotel quarantine for the immediate future.
If everything goes well, then hopefully we will be less dependent on these quarantine facilities, but this is going to be a phased approach.
It’s not going to come with a bang, it’s going to come in in dribs and drabs.
So we’ll slowly see a transition from probably hotel quarantine to these quarantine facilities … and then transition to sort of home quarantine, and then hopefully transition away from that.

I was going to plan on returning to Australia someday…not anymore. This is chilling, downright chilling and disturbing. Pray that Aussies will fight back again as well as spiritually and their wave against the tyranny will be even worse and stronger WITH Jesus!
There was also supposed to be a strike against the tyranny, and all of the truckers were supposed to block the major highways. They are arresting kids over there for not wearing masks & vaccinating them against their parent s will. It’s very bad there.
This tyranny will NOT stop. The more I read anti vax stuff, these same people mock The LORD Jesus Christ. And say religion is the whole reason we are in this tyrannical mess. Even with all of this oppression the mass majority of people WILL NOT TURN OR REPENT. Amazing really.
