All the more reason why you should keep minimal amounts in the bank,

The following report is from KSLA 12 News:

One of the nation’s largest credit card processors says it’s systems are back up and working after an outage affected customers all over the United States.

TSYS updated its status to “all systems operational” at midnight Sunday. So far, there is no word on the cause of the outage.

The credit card processor first reported its systems were down at 9:30 p.m. ET Saturday. Twenty minutes later, the company said it had identified the problem and was working on a fix.

Businesses from restaurants to ballparks took to social media to inform customers that they were not able to accept credit card payments at the current time.

TSYS says it serves more than 80,000 retail customers around the country.

I mention this because, beyond all the warnings The WinePress has given about coming power outages and “cyber attacks,” the fact remains that I would highly recommend keeping just enough money in the bank for online purchases and for bills only. There is absolutely no reason to have a savings account with any bank. Since our money is nothing more than numbers on a screen nowadays, it can be erased in the blink of an eye. Readers know that this is one of the reasons why I advise against cryptos, and even precious metals as that is a trap a lot of people fall into.

The Media Again Warns Of A Cyberattack. Fears Of “Jackware”

Should A Christian Invest In Gold And Silver?

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
