A couple of days ago New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio stated that mask mandates and other Covid related restrictions may be lifted by the beginning of the summer months if new New Yorkers get their vaccines.

When asked during a City Hall press briefing about the mask mandates, de Blasio hinted that restrictions will be in place at least by June, which he hopes to hit his bench mark of 5 million Big Apple residents fully vaccinated, according to a report by the New York Post.

We want to hold the line through June, so we’ll keep the masks on and we’ll do all the things we need to do. After that we’ll be able to reassess.

One of things we can say to people is if you want to get rid of masks, if you want to get rid of the social distancing, if you want to get rid of the restrictions — go get vaccinated.

We’re going to have to keep masks and restrictions in place until we’re 100%sure we’re out of the woods.

And the best way to know we’re out of the woods is to see those vaccination numbers go up and up and up.

Just with the number of people vaccinated so far, it’s just pushing down COVID and pushing down the cases and making the city safer.

According to the New York Post, just about 49% (3.2 million) residents across all five NYC boroughs, have received a vaccine.

New Yorker Gets Vaccine Because Of Trump

Continuing the trend of getting New York residents vaccinated, one man says he got the vaccine because President Donald Trump said to do so.

The resident of Staten Island said he was a bit skeptical of the vaccine at first, but claims when he saw the cover of a New York Post paper with Trump urging Americans to get the vaccine, 42 year-old Nick Quaranta was convinced and has already received his first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

According to that report, here is what the former President had to say about the vaccine to New York Post journalist Michael Goodwin:

I’m all in favor of the vaccine. It’s one of the great achievements, a true miracle, and not only for the United States. We’re saving tens of millions of lives throughout the world. We’re saving entire countries.

If we didn’t have a vaccine, it would have been just like the 1918 Spanish flu.

The vaccine is a great thing and people should take advantage of it, [however], nobody should be forced, we have our freedoms. But I strongly recommend it because it’s a real lifesaver.

As for Quaranta, here were his thoughts after reading Trump’s advocacy for it:

As soon as Trump said it, I was convinced to get it.

Trump said the other day, as reported in The Post, that everyone should get it and I’m a big Trump supporter. Not that he dictates my life but I think it’s better off getting it than getting the full blown COVID.

In the beginning I was skeptical because there is so much misinformation out there. One news site says no, Fauci is all over the place. One news site says get it.

It made me feel a little more comfortable that he told everyone to get it.

[Quaranta said he] trust[s] everything about him.

I was a big time supporter of him. He shut down the airways at the right time. I think he has good instincts. -in reference to Trump’s early bans on international travel.

I wish he was still president and I hope he runs for 2024.

Manhattan DA Will Prosecute Prostitution

The following report is also from the New York Post:

The Manhattan district attorney will stop prosecuting prostitution and unlicensed massage cases — and is tossing thousands of warrants dating as far back as 1975.

DA Cyrus Vance Jr. appeared virtually Wednesday in Manhattan Criminal Court to ask Judge Charlotte Davidson to vacate 5,994 bench warrants and dismiss the underlying charges of prostitution, unlicensed massage and loitering for the purpose of prostitution.

The motion was granted and the cases dating back to 1975 were dropped.

For years, the Manhattan DA has offered people facing these charges services and programs.

Now, we will decline to prosecute these arrests outright, providing services and support solely on a voluntary basis.

said Vance, who added that his office is the first in the state to take this step.

Brooklyn DA Eric Gonzalez’s office also declines to prosecute prostitution cases but only after services have been offered to defendants, a spokesman said.

This announcement shows that the Manhattan DA is committed to changing its approach to the sex trade by decriminalizing people who are in prostitution and supporting those most at risk of exploitation.

The bulk of the Manhattan dismissals related to loitering for the purpose of prostitution cases — dubbed the Walking While Trans law — which advocates have long said unfairly targets minorities.

Earlier this year, the state legislature struck the controversial statute from its books.

In response, the Brooklyn, Queens and Bronx DAs moved to vacate bench warrants stemming from this charge and dismiss all open cases.

Most of the city’s DAs had stopped prosecuting the crime years before it was repealed.

A spokesman for Richmond County DA Michael McMahon previously told The Post his office would follow suit.

I will address all three reports separately:

Firstly, this just further shows the tyranny of these political scum. ‘Want your freedoms back that we took from you without asking? Then do what we say and we’ll give some of them back.’ And even after some of the restrictions are lifted, New Yorkers, by and large are so brainwashed and enslaved most will still wear masks and self-isolate out of compulsion and brainwashing.

As for the second report, that was such grade-A, bonafide, propaganda piece – where they found some shlummie whose so half-whited and fickle he believes what his idol tells him to do. But this represents just how much power and control Trump has over his followers. I realize this is just one deluded pagan, but there are millions and millions that would kill for that rich whoremongering trash.
