As America and other nations are trapped in the tentacles of this gluttony pandemic that continues to worsen, there are some that are looking for ways to shed that added weight that they gained since the lockdowns over a year ago, and have realized their need to really get their health in check. Perhaps you are one of those persons.

In this report, I’ll be sharing a proven weight loss method that truly works and you will see results. This is not a sales pitch for some “fad diet” like Jenny Craig or the “Subway Diet:” this is a legitimate diet and lifestyle change that has been tested with numerous, and growing, scientific research and studies that show this method works.
Even better than the secular scientists and nutritionists saying it works, it is a diet that is indirectly mentioned in the Bible!
It is called intermittent fasting, and it is a proven method that works. I have done it myself, and I will tell you, it does work and I have seen results.
For the majority of my life I have been obese. From the time I could remember, I ate so much junk food and fast foods. I lived a very nutrient deficient lifestyle. I did not know when to quit. I would get so full it felt like my stomach was going to burst, especially restaurants – where I would scurry off to the bathroom and belch and “release some air,” and return to the table for even more food. I used to remember the times when I would slam 3-4 cans of Diet Dr.Pepper in the morning just as a young child not even in middle school yet. I remember the days when I would pack my cheeks full of Cheez-Its like a chipmunk and try not to choke on them, while I was sitting on the toilet! And no, that is not an over-exaggeration in the slightest.
The point of my saying that is to show that I know what it’s like to be very overweight and in horrible health. This is is why in my commentary on reports about the snacking and fast food crisis, and Covid nonsense, is because I understand what it feels like to be totally unhealthy.
Now that I have been saved for some years now, and the Lord has greatly sanctified my life and getting me to eat properly and perform healthier exercises, there is no dollar amount that would make me want to go back to the old lifestyle.
[5] Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: [6] For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: [7] In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. [8] But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. [9] Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; [10] And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: [11] Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.Colossians 3:5-11
But like most people, and perhaps you as well, are constantly trying all these ridiculous diets out there to lose weight. And don’t get me wrong, there are legitimate diet plans that are healthy and backed by research, and are sustainable; but from what I have studied and from what I have oberseved from the word of God, fasting is the way to go.
Most people think of fasting in the religious sense. And that is something very important for Christians to do. I am not going to get into all the scriptures and spiritual reasons why a Christian needs to fast for this report, but check out these two videos from King James Video Ministries for more information about that:
To be clear here: I am not an expert or a doctor, so I am not going to try all explain all the fine details, but instead, I shall turn it over to real doctors that do not prescribe pills and magic elixirs to get “healthy.” These are legitimate doctors that I recommend (always use discernment of course) that will point you to healthy solutions from God’s creation: not pharmaceuticals.
There is plenty of research into this subject so I cannot get into all of it here, but I have provided a handful of videos that explain how it works, what goes on in the body, the benefits, how to sustain and do it correctly, and the actual scientific data that supports the claims.
You might be asking, “Why have I not heard of this diet and lifestyle change more often?” To summarize a statement made by Dr. Jason Fung, one of the most outspoken doctors on fasting – succinctly explains why this diet is not promoted: There is no money in saying ‘Don’t eat.’
[9] But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. [10] For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.1 Timothy 6:9-10
[20] Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh: [21] For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags. [23] Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.Proverbs 23:20-21, 23
Makes more sense now doesn’t it? And again, I am not saying a diet or lifestyle change where you eat different kinds of foods while scrapping others is a bad thing: find what works best for you. But this is a diet that is indirectly supported by the word of God, and it costs you nothing.

I think the Bible-supported diet is to eat when you’re actually hungry (Ecclesiastes 10:17), and in small portions (Proverbs 23:21).
Ecclesiastes 10:17
Blessed art thou, O land, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness!
Proverbs 23:21
For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.
This diet that the Lord’s led me to has been working for me so far, and I think I could sustain it for the rest of my life.
Here’s a good video that explains how to divide your food properly so you don’t overeat:
