The President, however, noted that he did not have the details as to what exact weapon the killer used, the magazine, rounds, and any modifications made to it.
“I got that done when I was a senator. It passed. It was a law for the longest time, and it brought down these mass killings. We should do it again. We can close loopholes in our background check system, close the Charleston loophole. That’s one of the best tools we have right now to prevent gun violence.
Senate Majority leader Chuck Schumer said he vows to hold a vote in the Senate to pass the bill to change these laws. The house has already passed this proposal. However it is currently unlikely that this will pass as Schumer will need an additional 10 Republicans to pass the legislation.
Filibuster or not, the proposed bill will more than likely not fair well in the Senate.
Senators who were already discussing this issue yesterday are divided on what to do. Democrats are calling for tighter legislature on background checks and far more hefty restrictions. Republicans fired back by noting that the massive defunding of police across the country has led to these rises in violence as there are less police to mitigate crime, especially areas that already had tighter gun laws in place such as Colorado or Chicago, Illinois.

Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
Luke 22:36
Heeerre we go again… I have not had the chance to conduct deeper research to see if this was another staged shooting, but it would not surprise me for a second if it was.
Simply put: states and cities that have more gun freedoms are the more safer ones. End of story. Just look at that the stereotypical city that proves this: Chicago. The more restrictions they have, the more gun shootings and homicides they have. These laws do not apply to criminals. I feel like this is elementary but this argument has to continually be used to point out the obvious.
Indiana House Votes To Remove License To Carry Handguns. Some State Police Are Opposed
In our report about the proposed guns laws in Indiana, one of our readers commented this:
You may not like guns. That is your right.
You may not believe in God. That is your choice.
But if someone breaks into your home, the first two things you are going to do are…
1) Call someone with a gun and
2) Pray they will get there in time.
I seriously doubt these laws will change, though there may be the possibility of slight adjustments. Many of you may recall the totally staged shooting that occurred in Las Vegas several years ago, and out of the came the restrictions on bump stocks under the Trump administration.

Ironically, I recently read in a magazine that Joe Biden when he was Vice President he doesn’t like AR-15s but he has no problem with anyone owning a shotgun. Alrighty then, 12 gauge it is!
