It appears that foreign policy is unlikely to change all that much when President Trump retakes office on January 20th, as was insinuated per remarks made by Representative Michael Waltz, Trump’s selectee for National Security Advisor.

Waltz told FOX News Sunday on November 24th that he has met with Jake Sullivan, the current National Security Advisor for the Biden administration, and the two parties are “hands in glove” when it comes to “our adversaries,” he remarked

“For our adversaries out there that think this is a time of opportunity, that they can play one administration off the other — they are wrong,” Waltz said.

Here was the exchange Waltz and the Fox News host had:

GILLIAN TURNER (FOX): President Biden, as you know, approved Ukraine’s use of U.S.-made long-range missiles in Russia, which they immediately deployed. Russia then responded by using a new kind of experimental ballistic missile with multiple warheads.

PUTIN: These modern defense systems and the anti-missile defenses by the Americans in Europe do not intercept such missiles.

TURNER: Was this a good move by the Biden team this week, and how concerned are you about this new Russian weapon on the battlefield?

WALTZ: Look, this is a clear escalation, and the concern has been, where is this escalation going? This is in response, in large part, to North Korea sending troops. We have now responded by allowing these strikes deeper into Russia, and I want to be clear that they are hitting things like supply depots and airfields and pushing the Russian offensive back. They are not going all the way to Moscow or St. Petersburg.

But where is all this escalation going? South Korea is talking about somehow getting involved, and President Trump has been very clear about the need to end this conflict. So what we need to be discussing is who is at that table, whether any agreement or an armistice can take place, how to get both sides to the table, and then what the framework of a deal looks like. That’s what we’ll be working with on this administration until January — and then beyond.

I also want to be clear on one thing. Jake Sullivan and I have had discussions. We’ve met. For our adversaries out there that think this is a time of opportunity, that they can play one administration off the other — they are wrong. And we are hand in glove. We are one team with the United States in this transition.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

Go back to Election Day, November 5th, where I quoted the words of Larry Fink’s BlackRock, who said that it would make little difference if Trump or Kamala won.

I’m tired of hearing this is the biggest election in your lifetime. The reality is over time, it doesn’t matter.

He said

He also said in a separate interview: “I don’t think the U.S. is going to be pivoting that much depending on one outcome. We’re not focusing on the day-to-day movements of markets. [What] we’re focusing on: Is the U.S. an exceptional place to invest for five years, 10 years, 20 years? There may be moments where you can have a 10% or even 15% or 20% downdraft. Does that represent a major shift or does it represent an opportunity?”

And so now we have Waltz telling us outright that the two administrations are “hand in glove” and “one team.” Yup, we already knew that, but now it is coming straight out of the horse’s mouth and cannot be argued just how aligned both parties are and have been. We noted earlier this year a report from Foreign Affairs from two neo-con Republicans that both the Trump and Biden administrations were in complete alignment in starting a war with China and trying to force a coup to uproot their government by increasing the American military presence in the area.

Did you see Biden and Trump shaking hands, acting all cordial, smiling and cracking jokes with each other a couple of weeks ago? Well, now that Trump is back and Biden can ride off into the sunset as one of, if not the worst Presidents ever in U.S. history, guess they can both drop the charade and go back to being friends. As George Carlin said it best, “It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it!”

Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

It could not be any more obvious that we have a uniparty; and nothing will fundamentally change concerning foreign policy and as with most things when Trump returns to office. There will be some changes, sure, but the military-industrial complex will be allowed to flourish to even scarier levels as this country continues to bury itself into the ground and further transform itself into an even greater nanny state.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
