Early on in the pandemic “lockdowns” it was sadly an all too familiar scene to see people getting arrested over standoffs that ensued when patrons of businesses refused to wear a mask. But in Texas despite Governor Greg Abbott having lifted the mask mandate and opened the state back up “100%” it’s still happening, apparently.
The mask mandate was lifted statewide on March 10, but the very next day on Thursday a 65-year old Texas woman found herself being tackled to the ground by police after being told by a Galveston Bank of America branch to mask up.
Abbott had left it up to businesses or any premises on private property to decide if they want to require masks or not. The Republican governor explained in his announcement early this month, “If businesses don’t feel safe opening, they should not be required to.” Here’s what happend when the woman in Galveston defied the bank’s mask order on Thursday…
Galveston police were called to the scene after the woman refused to conform when asked by bank staff, after which officer bodycam video caught the intense exchange:
“Ma’am, if they ask you to leave, you have to leave,” the officer says in the bodycam video.
“My money is in this bank, and I’m going to take it out,” she replies.
“Well then you have to abide by their rules,” the officer answered.
In many cases Texans in the few days since the mask requirement was lifted have been flaunting the the social distancing measures and mask-up restrictions of private businesses while citing Gov. Abbott’s order.
This has led to continued encounters like the one in the police-cam video:
“Businesses have the right to refuse service even if you’re not wearing a mask,” the officer explains. “You need to go and get a mask and then take your money out.”
She continues to protest, and the officer tells her “we’re gonna do this the easy way or the hard way.”
“What are you gonna do, arrest me?” she replies.
“Yes, for intruding on premises,” he says.
After some more back and forth, the officer adds, “This is not a public place. This is a private business.”
The elderly woman then cried out, hoping that other customers would come to her defense, “Back up, back up! An old lady is getting arrested here!”
She later recounted in an interview with FOX-26 Houston that she was simply there to close her account, and that she couldn’t enter the drive-thru due to driving a large vehicle. “Ma’am you have to leave…,” the bank staff told her upon entering. “I just want to close my account, I’m gonna get my money and then I’ll leave. I can’t got through the drive-thru, I’m pulling the rig.”
“Wow, not wearing a mask people… this is what they do to ya!” she’s later heard exclaiming in the parking lot while handcuffed as police backup arrives.
The woman, identified in multiple reports as Terry White, later calls the other customers in the bank – who appear to be supportive of the officer’s move to arrest her – a “bunch of sheep”.
Police issued an arrest warrant based on “trespassing” given the bank had asked her to leave over the mask compliance issue.
Meanwhile, the city of Austin is actually fighting to keep the public mask mandate in place…
She further lambasted the police as “taking away people’s human rights” before being led away. Local reports say she was taken to a hospital for an injury to her foot sustained in the scuffle with police.

We understand this is nothing new, but it is just disgusting to see the times we are living in. These little scaredy-cats have to call the police on an older woman for not wearing a face diaper, and then have her thrown down and injured. This is America. And God is supposed to bless this mess?
But hey, don’t you pay attention to this: you need to mourn and sympathize with Megan Markle and Prince Harry for being too rich and not having even more money to sit on!
If you are a law enforcement officer in some fashion, when is enough, enough? At some point, even you must realize that these laws are insane. But are you going to “follow your orders” or are you going to actually be a REAL law enforcer?

If she only has money in one account that’s hooked up to her debit card, then, concerning the bank, if there is a drive-through, you can usually take out money and close an account from there.
If all money is in one account, depending on if they do online services – you could go around at times to withdraw your money, and just near the end, opt to close the account on a certain day.

Just saw the video. I guess people forget (due to lack of oxygen to the brain) that it’s usually hard for someone to stand up if they don’t have their hands. Even if one can get up without using their hands (for it’s possible, easier for younger skinny folks), it’s harder for the arms to be in the position he had hers in – aka, one arm lifted. |Then you have to take into account the woman is 65.

I would have worn the mask due to the circumstances with a message regarding the uselessness & insanity of the narrative for the supposed reasoning for doing so. Then, if I believed it was necessary or might prove fruitful to encourage more people to remove their money from that particular branch of the worldwide monetary system, moving it to another just as corrupt….then I might picket. But I believe those battles temporally were lost already, and now merely evidence the truth of God’s word, which might wake some people up to transfer their hope to Christ & eternal treasure which cannot be so lost.

That said, I have my doctrinal issues with Kent Hovind & Nolan McFadden both, but this overview by McFadden of Rome’s involvement in, and manipulation of, international law to the current tyrannical unity & its being suffered by the people of the US….by cultural infiltration, manipulation and bulls & syllabuses undermining national sovereignty….social justice, liberation theology etc which are then promoted through the UN and groups such as the World Bank, WHO etc to incorporate totalitarian, elite-and-crony-managed Marxism to ‘Christianity’ ——exposes much, and is useful to understanding what is happening around us to the end of a better fight in evangelism & resistance, & avoiding being deceived or absorbed up in it.

I believe having knowledge of these things & how they tie in to the manipulations for total control aids in resisting them. Folks who are uncertain trust unwisely. I’m not against cops not at all, I pray that all good cops be blessed and protected at all costs. Those cops on the other hand, they deserve whatever happens to them and I curse their wrongfully used authority in Jesus name! May they lose their badge and be treated like any other scum lowlife! Honestly, the woman should not have been there by herself. Having a male authority is so very vital, when dealing with goons. My wife and I have been in a few situations dealing with Police and the military, and they don’t touch her for any reason. The elderly woman in the video did quite a few things wrong. She should have just walked out when the bankers gave her trouble. Ask how to get her money out, and then leave.
