With a reported rise in Covid cases, the Italian nation will be locking down again, technically, for the third time.

Beginning on Monday, the most populated areas of Italy will be mandated to stay home except for work, medical reasons, and other essential practices.

This lockdown will extend past Easter weekend, April 3-5. This is the second Easter celebration in a row the nation will be on lockdown.

This lockdown, unlike last year’s total shutdown where no one could leave their homes, citizens are permitted to visit family and friends for the Easter celebration.

Reports state that Italy’s cases have risen to roughly 25,000 a day over the past 6 weeks. The vaccination process has also reported to have hit some snags along the way slowing the process.

The Italian health officials claim they are losing the fight against the reported deadly variants.

John Hopkins University is reporting that only 3% of the nation has been vaccinated.

Italy is administering about 170,000 doses a day — our aim is to triple that. It is only with widespread vaccinations that we will be able to do without restrictions like the ones we have had to adopt.

Minister Mario Draghi

I hope that this will be the last sacrifice asked of our citizens.

Lombardy President Attilio Fontana

On Friday the Italian government approved Johnson & Johnson’s one does vaccine, says the New York Post.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

[9] By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty. [10] But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night; [11] Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven? [12] There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men. [13] Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.

Job 35:9-13

It is pretty much by default to say that almost all Italians (that are citizens of that nation I mean) are Roman Catholic. Without going on a tangent, Roman Catholics are not saved. So now they are getting yet another lockdown. Technically this is the third one if you include the “light” one they had during the Christmas season. This, yet again, contradicts the WHO, which strongly urges governments to stop locking down their nations. Or Fauci in America.

The Italians, by and large, have not fought back and have willingly allowed themselves to be subject to even oppression. However, there were some protests in Naples last year that turned violent.

I wonder if the Pope is now ordering another lockdown under one of his interdicts.

What the media again completely avoids to mention is that Italy has one of the highest numbers of elderly compared to other nations, and the data continually points to the strong majority of those that have died to be elderly and already suffering from other preexisting health conditions.

[1] Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. [2] And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. [3] And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) [4] And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

Acts 12:1-4

Without getting into a big discourse about it, Easter is not a Christian holiday. It is a pagan Babylonian holiday Roman Catholicism absorbed from the pagan Romans. This holiday started on “Good Friday” and the people would get drunk and then celebrate fertility on that Sunday. The holiday is about worshipping fornication. This is why bunnies, eggs, baby chicks, and love birds are popular symbols during this time. Easter is meaningless to me.
