Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Director Ariel Florendo recently told the public, “If there are establishments who will not accept this, please inform us because the penalty for this is really big. If I can share it, the penalty is P500,000,” or approximately $8,730.00.

Florendo also noted that the PSA is working hard to reach all villages and get residents registered, aiming to get 7 million registrants by the end of September.
Daily Tribune reported that ‘as of April 2024, PSA-7 has successfully registered 6.8 million individuals in the provinces of Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental and Siquijor.’
Find Biometrics noted: ‘Last month, the PSA, in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), announced the official launch of the Digital National ID, alongside new identity verification and authentication systems called National ID eVerify and National ID Check. The digital ID is designed to be used as valid proof of age, and to enable digital transactions with government agencies and with private organizations. It’s backed by the use of facial recognition, among other mechanisms, for identity assurance.’
The Tech For Good Institute has praised the Philippines for its affinity to grow their digital economy.

Many other nations are ahead of the game than we are in many Western nations, but that does not mean the people are fully compliant. Therefore, governments and central banks will have to work very hard to force acceptance, by hook or by crook.

Proverbs 29:5 A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

In the past the Filipino citizens would’ve probably revolted if Marcos Jr. was put on the seat, as they did with Marcos Sr. for the tyranny he inflicted. Now, the majority are just like in America: suffering from selective amnesia with Trump’s past, in-office shenanigans, charmed by Rome’s witchcraft, vaccinated, brain dead, Virgin Mary-worshipping, entertainment-junkie zombies that couldn’t care less about true freedom and salvation.
I was still in the nation when the second revolution—EDSA II— to impeach then president Estrada, a popular action star/actor like Trump; and the subsequent EDSA 3 (violent riots supporting Estrada) took place in 2001. I was fortunately in our rural residence when the chaos erupted, not at my school in Manila where violence and destruction were boiling right on the surrounding streets.
I gotta say, being in a country area at the time was like being in another universe: quiet, safe, nothing big going on except dragonflies whizzing by and our dog running around.
It’s cool to see other Filipinos on this website, and who are possibly saved. I’ve been pondering on leaving America and making settlement in the Philippines, as its the homeland of my people- I’m a first generation who knows neither the language nor culture, I’m only Filipino by blood, and I’ve facing the effects of the diaspora.
What hinders my plans coming to fruition is the Catholic influences ingrained within the culture, and I can’t forget about what happened in 2020 (the news surrounding PI).
Anyways, just wanted to say hi.
Hey. I know, not good that the Philippines is under Catholicism big time. The nation is extremely devout. During the Catholic holy week, you’ll hear the “Passion of Christ” (Pasyon ni Kristo) sung in different parts of the country, meant for all residents to hear, ALL DAY (definitely where I lived).
The southern part of the nation is Muslim (also extremely devoted to Islam). Catholic soldiers and armed Muslims have been fighting in Mindanao ever since I can remember, though this never really affected the folks living in the northern and middle parts of the country, like me and my kin. Life went on in the south as well. But right now and going into 2025, I’m not sure what the Muslim Filipinos will be doing in connection to the Israel-Palestine war.
I saw online in 2021, Filipinos that needed to get food were stopped at checkpoints and sent home. That never happened to me here in the West.
In spite of all this, there’s still the thing of the Lord protecting Christians if we trust him fully. So ultimately I believe a Christian can go anywhere if his purpose aligns with the KJB and God’s will. It’s never a guarantee anyway that all of us will survive the coming rough times. Still, a win-win, live or die.
There are also scriptures (that I’ve learned from Bryan, KJV Ministries) about different kindreds or races having inheritance and blessings when they remain within their bounds of habitation (their country) that were set by God. Which I wasn’t aware of back then, being lost. But I can totally see that my body’s not really compatible with this foreign nation that I’m in despite being here for a long time. The winters alone wreck my skin.
From a witnessing perspective, a Christian will have plenty of chances over there when the country collapses, but also plenty of risks, the same anywhere I suppose. We know Paul went through a lot of rough times (2 Corinthians 11:16-33).
Paul was something else though, with his love and charity toward his fellow Jews:
Romans 9:1-5
1 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, 2 that I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. 3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: 4 who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; 5 whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
(Rather be accursed from Christ for his kinsmen…amazing.)
If I were to guess, maybe the PI will have slightly better conditions than in America during the collapse and ensuing rough times, since the nation’s located (south)east of the world as per Revelation 16:12.
Certainly you can grow your own food there easily because there are no freezing winters, only the very hot summers and windy typhoons. As a kid, I was able to grow my own cucumber plant without an ounce of experience in gardening. We did have chickens roaming around and pooping on the soil, which helped. Lots of nature-type places for you to live in seclusion over there too if that’s your thing.
It would be great for you get to know the culture firsthand. It’s beautiful there, if you stick to the country/rural areas, not the cities. Pray and ask the Lord to help you decide wisely.
I am Filipino. I will not comply. Over my death body. Ferdinand Marcos Sr. was a good leader and loved his people. It is ashame that his son is bought by the satanic cabal and does not have any balls to stand up for his fellow countrymen.
Godspeed.
Jimmy, Ferdinand Marcos Sr. was not a good leader, for the simple reason of imposing martial law. It was stated that Marcos Sr. declared martial law to supposedly quell the rising communist movement in the country. He also cultivated a cult of personality to remain in power for 20 years. Him and his family lived in excess during his rule (remember Imelda Marcos’ insane shoe collection?).
I haven’t studied this extensively, but I do understand this about martial law: it violates the God-given rights of common citizens, and is against the teachings of the King James Bible.
“Martial law is the replacement of civilian government by military rule and the suspension of civilian legal processes for military powers. Martial law can continue for a specified amount of time, or indefinitely, and standard civil liberties may be suspended for as long as martial law continues”
“Typically, the imposition of martial law accompanies curfews; the suspension of civil law, civil rights, and habeas corpus; and the application or extension of military law or military justice to civilians. Civilians defying martial law may be subjected to military tribunal (court-martial). ” – Wikipedia
Freedom of speech was non-existent during this period according to historical sources, as well as many citizens disappearing, never to be found again, that were deemed as enemies of the government, just by speaking out.
“By 1977, the armed forces had quadrupled and over 60,000 Filipinos had been arrested for political reasons. In 1981, Vice President George H. W. Bush praised Marcos for his “adherence to democratic principles and to the democratic processes”.[d] No American military or politician in the 1970s ever publicly questioned the authority of Marcos to help fight communism in South East Asia.” — Wikipedia
George H.W. Bush cheering for Marcos Sr.? Red flag right there.
Human rights abuses after he declared martial law:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_rights_abuses_of_the_Marcos_dictatorship
Also, according to sources, Marcos Sr. in his 30s, was tried and convicted for murder when he assassinated his father’s political rival with one shot—he was a national rifle champion. He then got sentenced to 10 to 17 years based on strong evidence, but was later overturned.
We know Wikipedia is not the end all be all source for everything. My point is, even though I or maybe you weren’t born yet when he came to power to really know everything that went down, just focus on the things that we can prove: he declared martial law, and he and his wife lived an excessive lifestyle during his tenure, all marks of a corrupt, wicked leader.
Take care out there. It’s only going to get worse.
