S. J. RES. 106 was presented in the Senate on July 31st, which says it is “a joint resolution to authorize the use of United States Armed Forces against the Islamic Republic of Iran for threatening the national security of the United States through the development of nuclear weapons.”
The President is authorized to use all necessary and appropriate force against the Islamic Republic of Iran if the President determines that the Islamic Republic of Iran–
1) Is in the process of possessing a nuclear weapon that threatens the national security interests of the United States; or
2) Possesses uranium enriched to weapons-grade level, possesses a nuclear warhead, or possesses a delivery vehicle capable of carrying a nuclear warhead that threatens the national security interests of the United States.

The bill was introduced right before the Senate’s August recess and Graham hopes to push the bill when they return in September. During a press conference in D.C. Graham stated:
“I just read the director of national intelligence report regarding the status of the Iran nuclear program, and I would urge every member of the House and the Senate to read it.
“Iran will keep going until somebody tells them to stop. It’s time to put red lines on their nuclear program and enforce them. The idea of ambiguity is not working. As we talk about their program, their program gets larger and more lethal. After viewing the ODNI report, I believe that if we do not change course, Iran will possess a nuclear weapon very soon,” he added.
“I am going to ask the body to take up this resolution in September and see where the Senate is on the idea that Iran and Hezbollah are the same. Without Iran, Hezbollah has no money, they have no technology, no weapons to wage war against Israel,” Graham said.
“It is time to end the charade that the world is playing when it comes to Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran. They are one and the same. We held the Soviet Union liable for any attack coming from Cuba because Cuba was a proxy of the Soviet Union. That same doctrine should apply to Iran,” he added. “Not only should Israel hold Iran accountable for any escalation by Hezbollah, the United States should do the same.”
When asked if he believed a skirmish with Iran or Hezbollah would require U.S. soldiers on the ground, Graham said, “No, not from us.”
RT reported on Friday that ‘Graham is a foreign policy hawk who has spent his two-decade stint in the Senate repeatedly lobbying for US involvement in foreign conflicts. He has called for “preemptive” US strikes on Iran since 2010, and within days of the Israel-Hamas war breaking out last October, was urging the US and Israel to bomb the Islamic Republic even if Tehran could not be linked to Hamas’ attack on Israel.’
‘“I’m calling tonight for Israel to destroy the oil refineries that fuel this terrorist beast,” Graham told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Wednesday. “Destroy the oil refineries, and they will knock this off,” he added, referring to Iran’s backing of Hezbollah and apparent support for Hamas,’ RT added.

We all know that Graham is just a blithering, bloodthirsty warmonger who cheers for every war imaginable, and him calling for more open war against Iran is not surprising; and doing so would drag Russia and China into this. Of course, the U.S. is nowhere ready to wage a war against an actual power to be reckoned with.

The U.S. already has capacity problems in supplying Ukraine and Israel as is, and when these conflicts inevitably escalate, the U.S. simply will not be able to meet that demand.
Of course, this comes as tensions in the Middle East are on the rise again as Hezbollah is beginning to engage with Israel more directly, and Iran, Turkey, and others have upped their threats. More on this in the days to come…

The “wars and rumors of wars” was part and parcel of the signs Jesus said would precede the destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem within the generation He (Jesus) was speaking to. He told the truth, of course. Titus drug a plow over Jerusalem in 70ad (within 40 years (a generation) of Jesus’ prediction. As for Jesus’ second coming, He said no signs would precede it. In short, there’s nothing in Scripture that says wars and rumors of wars will precede Christ’s second coming. Only those wishing to counterfeit already fulfilled prophecy (dispensational premillennialisrs, “Christian” Zionists) promote such futuristic falsehood.
Moreover, you write “we will soon be out of here.” You’ve been deceived. Nowhere in Scripture is a so-called “pre-trib rapture” followed by “seven years of tribulation” to be found. You’ve been taught it’s there. But, where is it? For 2000 plus years Christians the world over have been slaughtered for the cause of Christ. But, for some inexplicable reason, in complete contradiction to everything Jesus said, you’d have us and yourself believe that a group of Christians at the end will be immune to persecution and will be swept away into heaven while all hell breaks loose on earth for “seven years”. How gullible and entitled are you people?
Defend your fable. Provide the scriptures that teach a two-phase return of Christ, a pre-trib rapture followed by a 7 year “great tribulation”…and climaxed by an earthly 1000 year reign of Christ. You can find this fable taught by freemason John Darby and his cult followers but you will not and cannot find such nonsense in the Word of God. Repent of this false dictrine before it’s too late.
