The state of New York is testing out a new Covid passport to determine if you are eligible to enter certain venues.
First tested on February 27th at the Barclays Center, home to the Brooklyn Nets basketball team, the Excelsior Pass created with IBM was given a trial run, and again on March 2nd at Madison Square Garden.
According to Fox5 New York, Like a mobile boarding pass, people can print out their Excelsior Pass or store it on their smartphones. The pass has a secure QR code which the venue then scans to confirm the owner’s COVID status. The QR code only informs the venue if a pass is valid or invalid.
Pix11 explains how it works:
- Users can link their COVID-19 test or vaccination information to the app using a confidential and secure data transfer.
- Similar to a mobile airline boarding pass, users can either print out their pass or store it on their smartphone using the Excelsior Pass’s “Wallet App.”
- Each pass will have a secure QR code, which venues will scan using a companion app to confirm someone’s COVID health status.
Plans are currently in the works to have the pass available on the Apple and Google app stores.
We’re doing everything we can to vaccinate as many New Yorkers as possible, as quickly as possible, while keeping the infection rate down and reenergizing our economy in a safe, smart way. As we begin reopening the valves on different sectors of our economy, we are putting guidelines in place to ensure individuals attending events involving larger gatherings have tested negative for COVID or have been vaccinated to avoid an outbreak of the virus.
The Excelsior Pass will play a critical role in getting information to venues and sites in a secure and streamlined way, allowing us to fast-track the reopening of these businesses and getting us one step closer to reaching a new normal.
Governor Andrew Cuomo
Venues over 10,000 seats were allowed to reopen at 10% capacity, as of February 23rd. Staff and guests must all have a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the event and wear a face mask.
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: [17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. [18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.Revelation 13:16-18
Here is yet ANOTHER Covid pass coming our way. To clarify for new readers, The WinePress certainly does NOT believe that these passes are the mark of the beast, but it is certainly one of the final catalysts that will get the masses inundated and accepting for the final thing.
Airlines And Nations To Administer Covid Immunity Passports
Notice also what Governor “Can’t-Stop-Kissing-Women” said this will bring us (New Yorkers in context) closer to reaching a new normal. “New normal” has been the propaganda catchphrase since over a year ago. All of these abnormalities we are seeing and know are wrong, is actually the “new normal.” And, as much as I detest it, they are not lying. The contacting tracing apps the media pushed last summer did not work out well. Now all the states, right or left leaning, will eventually adopt some kind of Covid pass, or at least attempt to before incentivizing residents with some “benefit” attached to it.
As we have noted in other reports, this may lead to divide of businesses whose sole draw-in factor will be that they do not require a Covid test and vaccine for entry.
Under no circumstance will I get this vaccine. When the rollout officially reaches the broad masses, I think the media, politicians, and medical officials are going to quickly realize that not quite as many will want the vaccine, so the pressure will be upped to a new degree.

Is it a typo?
“The WinePress certainly does believe that these passes are the mark of the beast”
Q: Becuse what you write later implies that you forgot a “not” (the mark of the beast).
Sorry to make you verify again.
Whoops, better fix that. This is NOT the mark of the beast, not by a longshot.
