Earlier this month, former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Robert Redfield under the Trump administration, recently gave a testimonial before a Senate Committee hearing to say that mandating the mRNA Covid-19 vaccines on the public was a “mistake,” and even said that the shots were “toxic.”
Redfield’s nearly unreported statements were made on July 11th during a Homeland Security Governmental Affairs session. Redfield, who is now the current Senior Visiting Fellow for Biosecurity and Public Health Policy at the Heritage Foundation, provided a short testimony before answering questions.
Redfield has been a staunch proponent that Covid-19 was the result of gain-of-function research and was released via a lab leak – a point he emphasized in his opening testimony.
When questioned about the efficacy of these vaccines by the Senators, Redfield conceded that the vaccines were harmful and “toxic,” Children’s Health Defense (CHD).
I do think one of the greatest mistakes that was made, of course, was mandating these vaccines. They should have never been mandated. It should have been open to personal choice.

He went on to acknowledge that the spike protein generated by mRNA vaccines is “toxic to the body” and triggers “a very strong pro-inflammatory response.” The WinePress has reported on this since the early days of the vaccine rollout. Redfield said that he does not administer mRNA vaccines at his practice, claiming he prefers “killed protein vaccines” instead.
CHD noted, however, ‘Redfield’s statements stand in stark contrast to the CDC’s official stance during his tenure, which strongly promoted mRNA vaccine uptake as safe and effective.’
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) highlighted data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), which shows a substantial number of deaths directly related to the vaccines, 24% of those deaths occurring two days after inoculation.
Redfield said there was “not appropriate transparency from the beginning about the potential side effects of these vaccines.” He also criticized attempts to “underreport any side effects because they argued that would make the public less likely to get vaccinated.”
Former CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, Redfield’s successor when President Biden took office, was one of those such people who would downplay these deaths; which, at one point, when presented with VAERS data, tried to pass the blame on things such as “car accidents” and other random deaths that occurred within days of vaccination. The FDA should release all of the safety data they have. I was very disappointed to hear that they were planning to hold on to that until 2026. That really creates a sense of total lack of trust in our public health agencies towards vaccination.

Mandates are not laws, by the way. Regardless, ‘we’ who belong to Jesus Christ do as HE tells us. We are beholden to no man. We do not wither under pressure.

Of course he makes his so called apology with his crocodile tears. I personally forgive him for how his actions indirectly impacted me (this is just between me, him, and Jesus), however I will not in good conscience forget what happened. I know that we are right. At least I did not fall for the vaccine even though I fell for the mask wearing and the testing.
I smelled a rat at the beginning, and didn’t fall for any of it. Believe me, I won’t forget. I(at 5 foot 2 inches, was treated like poo, kicked out of stores, treated passive aggressively to, someone told my husband that they wished he would die, it was a mess. It did teach me to go on complete and utter faith in God to not need to have to go to a hospital, dentist, eye doctor, etc., because I was never going to put a mask on no matter what. Well, he had my back for those two years as he always has. I trusted him, and he delivered. It was truly a miracle. I’m so glad you never took the jab. We have seen so many people go through horrible things, or die overnight. My sister-in-law’s daughter took it so she could be a nurse. Well, she’s got medical issues now and can’t work. She’s also got mental issues. My mother got dementia. We told my parents not to take it, they said they wouldn’t then all of a sudden they told us they did. Total mess. I could go on and on.
Glad you stuck to your guns. If people who professed to have just a modicum of the faith they claim they have then they would be so much better off. And just like you, I knew people who said they’d refuse the shot and then turn right around and capitulate.
