Before being taken off stage, Trump said “let me get my shoes” a couple of times to Secret Service members. The former President eventually pumped his fists several times shouting “fight!” as the crowd chanted ‘USA!’

Media reports are now saying an “AR-style” rifle was found at the scene.
Butler County District attorney told the Associated Press that a shooter was dead and that a rally attendee had also been killed. One person is also reportedly in critical condition.
Media caught up with attendees after they were let out of the event to get their reactions.
Amateur footage taken alleges to show one of the shooters lying dead on a rooftop.
Another attendee told the press that he helped to carry away the body of the alleged shooter.
It is now being reported that the shooter was 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. The official motivation for the shooting is not yet disclosed.
The Secret Service issued a statement after Trump was hauled off to the hospital.
President Joe Biden said in a statement on X:
“I have been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania. I’m grateful to hear that he’s safe and doing well. I’m praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information.
“Jill and I are grateful to the Secret Service for getting him to safety. There’s no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it,” he added.
Former President Barack Obama also weighed-in on X, saying: “There is absolutely no place for political violence in our democracy. Although we don’t yet know exactly what happened, we should all be relieved that former President Trump wasn’t seriously hurt, and use this moment to recommit ourselves to civility and respect in our politics. Michelle and I are wishing him a quick recovery.”
James Blair, the political director for the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee, said in a statement: “Everything is OK. We have no details to share at this time but will follow up soon with more information.”
“Anyone who speaks with the press, even on background or off the record, will be found and terminated immediately. Refrain from commenting, speculating, posting on social media, etc. Complete and total lockdown,” he added.
“Pray, remain vigilant, and be strong. We WILL Make America Great Again,” he concluded.
The former President eventually took to his social media platform Truth Social to inform the world that he is okay and will be back on the campaign trail very shortly. Trump emphasized that it was “God alone” who prevented his untimely demise, and wrote “We will FEAR NOT.”

To close out 2023, I wrote an article titled “CBS Reporter Forecasts ‘Black Swan’ Event In 2024 Of ‘High Impact.’” Catherine Herridge said at the time:
