The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which allocates $895 billion for military spending, passed by a vote of 217–199. See how your representatives voted here. Every Republican voted in favor of the legislation, save only for Thomas Massie (KY), Matthew Rosendale (MT), and Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA), and a few others who did not vote. Only a few Democrats voted in favor and some others did not vote.
However, Reason says the resolution in its current form will most likely not pass the Democratically-controlled Senate.
Just The News quoted Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, who said in a statement on X: “The NDAA coming out of the House is loaded with anti-LGBTQ+, anti-choice, anti-environment, and other divisive amendments guaranteed not to pass the Senate. We will have to work together to pass a bipartisan NDAA that honors and respects all who serve in defense of our nation.”
The WinePress reported on this amendment earlier this month; which was slipped into the NDAA by Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D–PA), a member of the a member of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC) and the Ranking Member of HASC’s military Quality of Life Panel.
The WP reported:
Young American men are legally obligated to register for the Selective Service System (SSS), lest they face hefty fines and possible jail times, though those penalties have never really been enforced, and a draft a has not been enacted in over 52 years since the Vietnam War.
This negligence to enroll has increased in recent years, according to the Military Times, ‘in large part because registration options were removed from the federal student loan process two years ago. That had accounted for nearly a quarter of all registrations in prior years.’
However, this amendment would bypass the paperwork and failure to register, and would automatically register young adult men once they turn 18. This amendment would affect everyone aged 18-26.
Representatives Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) and Don Bacon (R-NE) sponsored the amendment, calling it both a money-saving and common-sense reform.
In a press release on her website, Houlahan, a member of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC) and the Ranking Member of HASC’s military Quality of Life Panel, “celebrated the inclusion of her Quality of Life report recommendations and additional amendments in the annual defense bill markup.”
This year’s annual defense bill – traditionally called the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), renamed the Servicemember Quality of Life Improvement and National Defense Authorization Act this year – contained roughly 600 amendments that were introduced and 14 of Houlahan’s were accepted, many of which were presented in their 48-page Quality of Life report that presented 31 recommendations.
Of the 14 amendments that were adopted in a bipartisan vote in 57-1, one of those included the automation of the SSS.
Making selective service registration automatic for eligible men, cutting through red tape and saving taxpayer dollars. The amendment reads
During the debate hearings she said:
By using available federal databases, the [SSS] agency will be able to register all of the individuals required and thus help ensure that any future military draft is fair and equitable.
This will also allow us to rededicate resources — basically that means money — towards reading readiness and towards mobilization … rather than towards education and advertising campaigns driven to register people.
“As a third-generation veteran and proud Pennsylvanian, I championed these priorities for every military family I’ve spoken with across the Commonwealth, country, and globe,” said Houlahan. “Our men and women in uniform sacrifice so much for our nation – and they do so proudly, patriotically, and often without concern for their own wellbeing. That doesn’t mean, however, that they are invincible. Our military is strong because of our people, and we need to take care of them and their loved ones. This legislation further demonstrates our appreciation for their service and will strengthen our national security.”
The Military Times went on to note: ‘The Selective Service System costs roughly $30 million a year. Lawmakers have proposed a number of reforms to the database in recent years, including adding women and completely eliminating the agency altogether, but none have made it through Congress.’
‘The latest proposal was approved unanimously by the committee but still must advance through the full House and Senate before it can become law. The authorization bill, which contains a myriad of military budget and policy priorities, is expected to be finalized by the two chambers sometime this fall,’ the outlet added.
Reason also noted that ‘the draft is a hobby horse for Houlahan, an Air Force veteran. She also spearheaded a House bill in 2021 to require women to register with the Selective Service, effectively doubling the draft pool.’

And “coincidentally” just the other day, Biden and other G7 nations signed a 10-year-pact to keep funding and repair Ukraine. SEE: Ukraine Signs 10-Year Defense Agreement With US At G7 Meeting, The ‘Strongest Agreement Since Ukraine’s Independence’
We’ll see if this actually gets picked-up in the Senate. If it does, then perhaps I’ll do some more reporting on ways we can fight this. As I said last time, the government can go blow bubbles and fly a kite because no way, no how am I enlisting or going to fight for a country that hates me, and die for an oil company. They can come drag me out, but even then that’s not going to deter my defiance of this evil government. People need to stand up to this and refuse to fight anymore of these unjust wars.

Psalm 120:6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. [7] I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

This draft is unjust because the war is being fomented on purpose. DC has become the epitome of evil, greed, power and the military industrial complex / deep state are using humans as cannon fodder. Women will be drafted if the bill passes the senate. Women wanted equal rights so now they will find out how war is a living hell started by evil people who don’t send their own children.
There is only one reason to fight a war and that is to defeat tyranny and evil. WW3 has been carefully planned and being fomented on purpose to bring in the great reset nonsense/cdbc, etc.
Unless the Lord returns WW3 will be the worst disaster that will kill millions upon millions and make past wars look like a picnic.
Hopefully justice will be done soon against all the evildoers killing humans in the name of depopulation/greed/power. We are not dealing with normal people they do not care about anyone else but themselves. They made themselves gods which they are not.
I’m 27 and I’m pretty much spared from the potential draft unless they drafted people my age and older (there were times where men my age and up were conscripted). Some people say that they had a vision where men and women alike 18-30 years old were conscripted.
The Senate version includes women. There is also talk about increasing the age if war goes global, to 18-49 or 55. They are drafting men in Ukraine up to age 60. Nothing would surprise me. We are truly in a pickle.
So I’ve heard. I’ll be sure to keep monitoring this…
There’s not much to say about this except… I’m disgusted but I also understand it is God’s judgment on this wicked country…. God’s will be done.
The age of conscription will continue to climb…until they’ve eliminated all opposition. This is also a distraction from the digitalization of currency that’s taking place. What is needed is equality; the elite should be made to conscript their sons, daughters, and grandchildren too!
All NATO countries will follow the DSA’s lead…as usual. It’s only a matter of time…a very short time.
Heretical theology has consequences. Sometimes the consequences are cataclysmic. Christian Zionism, specificall Premillennial Dispensationalism (a young heresy—only 194 years old), is the root of the majority of these wars—and also this related push to sacrifice millions of kids in Zionist/Christian Zionist bloodshed…happening globally.
So, for all you Christian Zionists out there, your hollow and hypocritical rage at mandatory conscription is seen by non Zionist Christians for what it is—duplicity.
