The following report is by Coin Telegraph:
Large companies like Meta, Amazon, Google and Microsoft, along with the cryptocurrency mining firm AboutBit, have either invested or plan to build their facilities in the state.
While Indiana provides financial incentives to organizations, AboutBit and other cryptocurrency miners are not eligible for these state programs.
In May, Amazon announced plans to invest $11 billion in Indiana, to which Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb said:
[Amazon] wouldn’t have made the commitment without the confidence that we can supply both the power and the water.
In addition, Commerce Secretary David Rosenberg, head of the Indiana Economic Development Corp., said the state has “ample amounts of both” power and water.
AboutBit had transformed a 50-year-old power station into a sustainable liquid-cooled cryptocurrency mining facility. It currently runs next to the Merom Generating Station in Indiana.
As of May 28, U.S. Bitcoin miners have spent $2.7 billion on electricity in 2024.
“Since the start of 2024, Bitcoin mining in the U.S. has consumed an enormous 20,822.62 GWh of electric power,” said Paul Hoffman, an analyst at Best Brokers. “At the average commercial electricity rate of $0.1281 per kWh as of February, this amounts to an expenditure of $2,667,378,196.47.”
Before the Bitcoin halving in April, mining one BTC required 407,059.01 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, which cost approximately $52,144.26. Since the halving, the electricity needed to mine one BTC has increased to 862,635.55 kWh, which costs around $110,503.61 at average commercial rates.
Hoffman explained: “This amount of energy could charge every electric vehicle in the U.S. 87.52 times or power 1,983,107 households for a year, which is 1.51% of all U.S. households.”
In January, the Bitcoin ESG Forecast revealed that sustainable energy use in Bitcoin mining has increased to a new all-time high of 54.5%, with sustainable mining rising by 3.6% overall during 2023.

Oh joy, let’s sell-out the state some more to big tech, why don’t we? Holcomb, as I have noted before, is just another establishment globalist RINO that is on board with the World Economic Forum agenda.
Proverbs 19:6 Many will intreat the favour of the prince: and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

As a Hoosier myself, Hoosier heritage, Hoosier roots (whatever you want to call it) this is sad. Indiana is such a humble, quaint state and now it’s being sold out to the big tech big whigs.
Isn’t Indiana part of Tornado Alley? Let’s build all these data centers in an area where bad storms take out the power for days.
Yeah that’s a smart move…NOT!!!
Indiana is far away from Tornado Alley. However, the Lord Jesus Christ can send tornadoes (whirldwinds) anywhere He desires.

Notice the name of the state “In diana”
Acts 19:28 And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
Or “Mary Land”
I lived in Indiana for 6 years. I remember it with fondness. But this is sad. I don’t think it’s in tornado alley. I don’t remember a single tornado watch or warning. Just fyi.
The world gets sadder and sadder.
Some people say that it is and others do not list Indiana in tornado ally. But yeah, it’s ridiculous seeing more of the state getting sold out like this. I live in St. Joe County and that’s where Meta will be setting up shop.
I believe there’s a lot of this going on in adjacent Ohio, too. Our power & utility companies are very sure of themselves, speak very confidently, & so far costs haven’t totally ballooned…..though there has been an explosion of infrastructure work, & I’m sure the space required & foreign interests involved will mean continually making rural living very costly, moving people to the cities.
–
People are facing continual new demands from ‘zoning’ and insurance concerns demanding everything from a new roof or they will drop coverage, or special laser water treatment for wells, etc.
–
A fellow we know who inherited a mobile home on an acre property with existing water well & septic recently was faced with required upgrades before it could be inhabited. Estimates on septic alone was $30K plus, several comparison quotes gotten. He wants to keep the land, as he grew up there, but will probably have to scrap out the home.
–
Another, relative of ours, bought a home & had to put extra thousands into laser water treatment, passing all other inspections. Insurance company now threatening to drop them over roof condition if not replaced within the year!….6 months into ownership!
–
Very subtle & all sorts of plausible deniability to rip people off while fat cats grow fatter. You’d think these cronies would catch on & have compassion on the neighbors they’re ripping off…..but this is 2024 and 1 Timothy 4&6, 2 Timothy 3 KJB.
–
They’re next. All depending upon how long, & what, the Lord allows.
–
I’m not real familiar with Indiana geography, but western & southwestern Ohio are very wide open & flat, having quite a few bad tornado incidents in the Dayton area etc. Xenia was a really bad one, historically. We get warnings here alot, but mainly strong winds etc, and the terrain is hillier, more Appalachian. Tornados have to ‘skip ridges’, follow broad valleys etc to do really bad damage.
–
You have to wonder what’s going on in Missouri to trigger what they’re experiencing. They’re always prone, but not like this year.
–
Amazon is all over the place here in Ohio, & I’m thinking there was some ‘carbon capture’ garbage gobbling up farms in the flat, western part of the state, too. The structuring of capital gains and inheritance taxes force many people inheriting to sell. Even those with foresight who planned for such normal government graft, rising taxes & such things could never have foreseen the drastic & sudden changes made recently.
–
Healthcare is being swallowed up by global corporations, and private care facilities etc are all owned by Catholics, Jews or New Age ecumenical pagan types who merge it all! Sodomites taking positions of administration all over the place, & setting lover favorites & allies in positions of management/oversight making life very difficult for any real Christians struggling to work in those situations. Lots of demotions & not pretty.
–
We watch to see if doctors, even as part of the system& unsaved, yet who want their parents well cared for….will step up in this situation. Many Christians working in the care centers etc are suffered by those sorts of people: they don’t want keeper at home type responsibility THEMSELVES, but they look for something as close to that as they can get by whom they hire, or put in charge of their parents’ care. Proving that they know that they know that they know in their heart of hearts what is right & good, God’s order.
–
We live in a mobile home community that was locally, family owned by people we knew in the late ’90’s. They lost it in lawsuits & the 2008 real estate grab. Been through several owners & things stayed okay until recently bought out by a ‘land holding company’ specializing in mobile home communities.
–
Amongst other things, they want copy of home deeds, and can force improvements after certified inspections…at home owners’ expense. And they also monitor compliance with property taxes! All for our ‘convenience’, of course, so that everyone’s ‘community experience’ is optimal. Inquisition via Marxist/Fascist see-something, say-something etc. Can’t pay lot rent by check & not even online unless we use a phone ap. There’s a card that you can use at ‘certain retail outlets’, which has an additional $4 fee per use….that’s real ‘convenient’.
–
My edible landscaping prepping & chickens on a bluff behind the property are now against the rules, and so is taking in relatives without raised rent (though we still pay all pertinent water, electric, gas etc): but as the Lord would have it, our daughter’s family was here & year & out to rural property before the new rules. As my health worsened & it proved too much for my children with their own families to care for, & husband, we made the decision to drastically downsize the part of the park that I cared for personally. We sent a note to that effect to the anonymous owners with one lot rent check, & actually had a family workday removing as much of the brambles, herbs, flowers etc, raking smooth etc as we could, knowing they’d just raze them. Today’s ‘professional’ landscapers can’t be so bothered in their speedy rush-jobs, cut-throat competition & quoting, spraying poison & whatever ‘works’….which was one of the reasons I began doing the mowing & trimming around our home in the first place. That & to have some skirting left after they weed-eated!
–
We got notice of the ownership change & new rules the week after that was done! And there’s a new rural home chicken coop being built right now, before official rules come in July 1st.
–
You can see where all of this is going, even without the war & imported soldiers taken into consideration: the company will be seizing homes of those unable to comply with growing demands, then renting them back PLUS lot rent. They will also likely begin placing ‘homeless’ and ‘displaced’ persons all expenses paid.
–
I do not recommend what used to be a decent option for lower income folks or those challenged physically or elsewise, who are allured by perks & ‘services’ which then ‘disappear’. Thankful I’m saved, even old and dying, & my husband can cast his lot with other family members when the time comes & Lord willing.
–
Forgive me if I shared any of that in warning earlier. It’s so irksome and vexing. We all know how that long range ‘planning’ of man can go!! But though the puppetmaster ‘planners’ definitely have the system fixed and a heavy finger on the scales of trade & justice……what the Lord decides trumps their ‘plans’, too, from time to time. And, or, tempers the severity of it with regard to his suffering people.
–
The power people were out a couple days ago monkeying around with the power array on the pole out front, & I’ve been hurting more than usual ever since. We had to cross a couple other things off the grocery list because of ingredient changes, which are coming more & more frequently, & must be constantly watched. I can’t expect my 78-year old, still working husband to be making me all organic, fresh-ground wheat bread, & all things fresh or from scratch as I once did.
–
Yet I’m still here. Still testifying. Still giving warning to whoever will heed it. Christians don’t get to quit until the captain of our souls calls us out. That is NOT an option, and God is still good, Romans 8:28 KJB true. He’s providing in the storm & the trials, & even chastening is custom made, and coming from his hand….nothing more, nothing less, and praise God for his mercy else none could be saved. The hour is short. We don’t know how short, but it’s definitely shorter….& a whole lot of signposts are either behind us already, or coming into view. Don’t faint now, Christian.
They look like Money launderers United front lol
