Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY) announces the introduction of H.R. 8421, the Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act. Rep. Massie’s legislation abolishes the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve and the Federal Reserve banks. It also repeals the Federal Reserve Act, the 1913 law that created the Federal Reserve System.
“Monetizing debt is a closely coordinated effort between the White House, Federal Reserve, Treasury Department, Congress, Big Banks, and Wall Street,” Rep. Massie continued. “Through this process, retirees see their savings evaporate due to the actions of a central bank pursuing inflationary policies that benefit the wealthy and connected. If we really want to reduce inflation, the most effective policy is to end the Federal Reserve.”

The Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act was first introduced by former Representative Ron Paul (R-TX) in 1999 and hasn’t been reintroduced since 2013.
In addition to introducing this legislation to “End the Fed,” Rep. Massie has also introduced H.R. 24, the Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2023 to audit the Federal Reserve. H.R. 24 was originally introduced by former Representative Ron Paul (R-TX) in 2009.
Before announcing the bill, Massie ran a poll on X asking if he should introduce this “End the Fed” bill. Respondents overwhelmingly supported this.

Not gonna happen. Don’t hope for it, don’t look for it, don’t expect anything to change. This bill is dead on arrival. Thomas Massie is the only Congressman that I have seen with a modicum of a brain left, as he has consistently voted against omnibus bills and Orwellian surveillance bills during his tenure, but this is nothing more than a “pony show.” Massie knows this will never pass or get picked up.
At the very least it will perhaps create awareness for Americans who don’t understand, and perhaps expose once again the wholly corrupted Cretans who won’t even pretend that they support this bill.
It’s too late to end the Fed and central banks; that should have happened many, many years ago. Now it is far too late. People ought to be protesting the Fed rather than the government. The politicians are just their lackies; the central bankster gangsters are in control.
Remember: earlier this year New Zealand Reserve Bank (NZRB) Governor Adrian Orr cracked a joke about the modern central banking system, which was met with laughter.
