New York City Mayor Eric Adams recently claimed that perhaps the city should employ a number of illegal aliens as lifeguards because he says they are “great swimmers.”

How do we have a large body of people that are in our city, in our country, that are excellent swimmers and at the same time we need lifeguards — and the only obstacle is that we won’t give them the right to work to become a lifeguard. That just doesn’t make sense.

If we had a plan that said, ‘If there was a shortage of food service workers and those who fit that criteria, we’re going to expedite you; if you have experience that you are a nurse and we have a nursing shortage, we would expedite you.’

It’s the same for lifeguards. So, we have all these eligible people waiting to work, with the skills we need to do the jobs, but we are unable to allow them to work because bureaucracy is in the way.

The Washington Examiner noted: ‘a common derisive term for illegal immigrants, Mexican-Americans and Hispanics generally, is “wetback,” so called from getting their backs wet while swimming across the Rio Grande into the U.S.’

James 2:3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: [4] Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

Don’t you just love it when these stupid progressives say the absolute most “racist” stuff? Of course, God forbid if one of us said that then we’d be ratioed off this planet.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
