The bill passed a 14-7 vote last month and was recently signed into law by Governor John Carney (D). The text of “H.B. 165” can be read here. A summary of the bill states:
This Act authorizes the process of natural organic reduction to be used in this State. Natural organic reduction is also known as human composting.
This process uses large tanks or similar vessels to hold human remains together with straw, wood chips, or other natural materials for about 30 days. The human remains and organic materials, mixed together with warm air, are periodically turned and the composting process eventually results in reduction of the human remains to a soil material that can then be provided to the deceased individual’s family.
Natural organic reduction is considered a more eco-friendly cremation alternative, forgoing the usage of formaldehyde and the release of carbon dioxide and mercury into the atmosphere. The process also uses 1/8 the energy of cremation.
Senate sponsor Laura Sturgeon said in a statement: “This choice may not be for everyone, but we can respect those who wish to turn their bodies into soil by allowing this sustainable death care option to be available in Delaware.”
Chris DiPietro, a lobbyist that testified in favor of the bill, said “that [this] is completely safe for any use.”
Senator David Lawson did not agree this bill. “I really have a tough time accepting the idea of composting a human body. It just doesn’t comport with my upbringing, my religion and my belief that God designed us, and we deserve a bit more respect than being turned into tomato food.”
ABC notes that “human composting is currently legal in Washington, Colorado, Oregon, Vermont, California, New York and Nevada, and legislation has been introduced in more than a dozen other states” – something The WP has covered in several reports.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY
[1] At that time, saith the LORD, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves: [2] And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth. [3] And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts. Jeremiah 8:1-3
There is just no respect for life left in this country. It is full of murderers, evil beasts and wild dogs, and cannibals; to the point where people have not only long since tolerated cremation, but now are willing to allow their bodies be turned into compost. Just utterly sick.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

Prior to marrying my husband, he had wanted to be cremated. He made that decision prior to accepting Jesus Christ as his Savior. Once he became born again, he changed that directive. I told him – ‘good thing, because the only way you would have been cremated is if I die first.’
Well whaddya know, a step up from Petro goo.

America is a messed up and demented country.
This nation has a major whipping coming her way!
So this brings up a question for anyone to answer Is it against God’s will for anyone to be cremated after death? I don’t recall reading anywhere in the bible that God is against cremation, so if it’s in there please let me know. I hope this “new idea” is not mandatory and people still have a choice on burial or cremation, especially if it’s against God’s will to do so. The world has gone evil in every politician and lawmaker in the world these days.
Yes, Char it is wrong to be cremated hears a video from brother Bryan https://youtu.be/JpngxWq5FLg?si=mcDnHHwblh2p17C3 I hope and pray it helps your question.
