The following report is by WSMV 4:
The Metro Nashville Police Department is showing progress as it works toward a goal of hiring more female recruits.
More women are helping fill critical officer positions thanks to the 30×30 initiative signed by Police Chief John Drake in March of 2021.
The national initiative challenges police departments to increase female staffing to 30% by 2030.
Women made up 11% of the MNPD in 2023, according to Commander Tiffany Gibson, metro’s first female director of training with the Metro Police Department Training Academy.
As of February 2024, Commander Gibson said MNPD numbers showed women made up 13% of metro’s total police force, edging closer to the 30% goal.
We’re definitely growing, so if we can just keep that momentum going. I believe that it is definitely attainable. We still have some time, and we’re just going to keep working really hard to keep making sure that we get there, at least very close to it.
Said Gibson
Lactation rooms for nursing moms, more flexible schedules and physical test modifications are among the changes MNPD made to help attract new recruits, especially women. That’s in addition to their already paid maternity leave and sick time, according to Commander Gibson.
Looking to the future, Gibson said conversations are underway, trying to lay the foundation for a 24/7 childcare facility for metro police families.
“…We’re trying to get going, possibly help sponsor our own childcare facility, and I think that would be really helpful for females definitely, but also for families in general at the department.”
Commander Gibson said MNPD is looking to model San Diego’s Police Department where they built the nation’s first childcare center customized to meet the needs of law enforcement.
“I think having that availability would be when it would really be a game changer for sure,” Gibson expressed as she discussed how the childcare facility could help with recruiting.
A date has not been set for any facility, but Gibson said, “We’re hoping that can happen in the near future.”
All the changes are to help attract MNPD trainees like Kaitlyn Dalena.
It’s a male dominated profession, so women are scared to take that step maybe thinking that they’re not able to do it, but you can do it if you have that right mindset.
Said Dalena
Dalena is one of four women in her Police Training Academy class set to graduate in April.
Both she and new officers like Emma Long say they hope the changes lead to more women joining them on patrols and beyond.
“More qualified and strong women to be in this police department and be leaders in this police department,” said Officer Long, “I mean I think it would be a great thing to see.”
Commander Gibson said there were 162 vacant, funded positions available with MNPD as of February 2024.
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
Isaiah 3:12
Though this is just one police force scores of them around the country have been and are continuing to do something similar. Look to yourselves and those you can trust (and the Lord of course) for safety and protection, because as crime, civil unrest, anarchy, food shortages, etc. grow, police will be rendered useless, just as they already are in many ways; especially with all the women they are adding, and the drops in physical aptitude, and all these other amenities they need as to prevent “emotional distress” and all this other nonsense.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

They’ll find out what emotional distress actually is when this nation begins to collapse and crash, and there’s death, chaos, and war on every street in America.
These women cops are going to lock themselves in their unit and suck their thumbs and cuddle their teddy bears.
No Dalena, women can NOT do what men can do. You are likely to get a reality check in short order.
Many may disagree, but there are very few occupations in which a woman belongs and is suited. Police is one they are not meant for. Too many little girls were told when they were growing up they can do anything, have it all. No. You can’t. Those little girls were deceived by adults that would rather lie to them than tell them the truth. The truth is . . . females are a unique and special creation God made for purposes only they can fulfill. It is a gift to be female. Females are revered and protected. Their job is to nurture, encourage, cook, clean, support their husband – under the admonition of The Lord.
I fully understand that not every woman will be gifted with a loving, supportive, protective husband and must fend for herself and work. God did not intend for women to intentionally select a career that would put her in harms way.
Additionally, it is women in men’s roles (in part) that have placed society in peril today. Women tend to make decisions fogged by emotions, hold grudges. Men (usually) make sound decisions, cutting through the b.s. They also have a unique ability to disagree (sometimes physically), then collaborate together for solutions without holding a grudge.
If women would just let men be men and not try to intervene, many things would be better and different.
And yet all this feminism and female empowerment is put on a pedestal in churches these days, and pastors, even the so-called “conservative” and “fundamental” are ghostly afraid to speak on this common truth.
2 Timothy 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
Correct. Feminism is demonic. The word feminine was altered similarly intending to confuse. Men (for the most part) want and appreciate a woman who revels in her femininity. Women who wear dresses. Women who are modest in action and deed. Women who are soft and delicate. Men want and need their woman to reserve what they have for them and them alone. Women should not be exposing their wares (so to speak) for the world to see. It’s no one’s business but hers, and her husband.
Feminism is a direct assault on all of that. Feminism wants to destroy femininity, and most women are either too stupid to see it, stubborn, or both.
Amen Born Again.
1 Timothy 5:14 !!!
Go watch body-cam video’s and see what police deal with; there are not many cops that can handle some crooks singlehanded and need backup, women are not strong enough to handle a maniac by herself. I’ll say it; ya can’t reduce the qualifications to it easy for girls to be equal to men, goes against nature; God’s order of mankind; 1,God, 2,man, 3,woman.
I remember when they first allowed women to go into professions like police work & firefighting/paramedic& rescue etc. Many families were destroyed, & many lives were lost as the men often had to compensate for the real inequalities in strength etc. It also opened the door to a ton of psych-garbage & drugging to ‘rehab’ & ‘reform’ as the humanists flipped the whole biblical true understanding of the nature of man, sin & righteousness, crime & legit punishment & restitution.
–
I have a sister-in-law who was in the first ‘batch’ in our own county. Firefighter/paramedic. She still plays the pretense, but as she ages: I’ve lost count of the reconstructive surgeries she’s had trying to prove her ‘equality’, no matter how much she ‘works out’, learns martial arts etc. And, my younger brother & she have a very strange marriage. There’s never a true becoming one.
–
Those older than I as women were first entering the workforce had to admit that the adultery & divorce rates rose corresponding to the number of women entering the workforce. The proof’s still there in the statistics & history they’re so busily ‘disappearing’ and ‘revising’.
–
What’s ironic is that those who knowingly do it to exploit women & children, far too often do it with the aid of the women suffering under it. And, who then weep over what’s happening to their marriages & children….or just grow totally hard to the point of loss of natural affection, killing one’s own offspring (sacrificing them for convenience, & the immediate lust).
–
There’s a willful mental/rational disconnect where sin & lust & the immediate trumps sense & righteousness. Coarsening of the conscience. It’s willful & doesn’t negate free will, but I believe it’s part of why so many are turning back to cruel, karmic Calvinistic & Augustinian ‘religion’…..which just adds fuel to the fire in the temptation to browbeat women & children, to blame, pass the buck & refuse to shoulder male responsibility in the problem: &, as they say, the ‘beat goes on’. (There’s a pun in that, & I’m not talking legitimate discipline or punishment, but a perversion of it.)
–
Women grew increasingly worldly & callous, strangely hardened & of unnatural affection as things ‘progressed’. Just simple Bible.
–
And they say there are no ‘proofs’ of the Bible not being ‘just another book’.
–
2Ti 3:2-5 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
–
Many never turned away. And, many came up faithfully attending ‘churches’ where the Bible was never taught, & they never took the initiative to learn it for themselves (which is often discouraged because then….just like with outright Romanism….it exposes hypocrisy & sin, disobedience in the churches, & the often inability of the leadership to truly navigate or understand or even believe, the whole of the Bible. The real one especially.)
–
The outcome is what the outcome is: but the question becomes: what will YOU do with the challenges, trials & temptations of your own age & where we are now. Will you press on in the way, or compromise or go back to, Egypt.
