The bill also raises “the maximum punishments for the four hate propaganda offences from 5 years to life imprisonment for advocating genocide and from 2 years to 5 years for the others when persecuted by way of indictment.”

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his currently ruling Liberal Party have introduced a bill that would greatly restrict what is published online, and severely punish users for posting certain types of content.

The bill, referred to as the “Online Harms Act,” (Bill C-63) would stringently police child bullying and content promoting self harm to a child, along with other categories such as ‘hate speech, content that incites violence or terrorism, content that sexualizes children or victims of sexual violence, and sexual content that is posted without consent,’ CBC reported. The bill would amend the Criminal Code to better address these hate crimes.

We cannot tolerate anarchy on the internet. The safety, the mental health and even the lives of our kids and our most vulnerable are at stake.

Justice Minister Arif Virani told a press conference Monday.

The official technical briefing unveiled on Monday states: “New standalone hate crime offence that would apply to every offence in the Criminal Code and in any other Act of Parliament, allowing penalties up to life imprisonment to denounce and deter this hateful conduct as a crime in itself.”

The amendments include very sharp penalties for violating the Code. True North says ‘These amendments include the introduction of a standalone hate crime offence applicable across all criminal offences, with penalties extending up to life imprisonment.’

Moreover, part of the bill’s text states:

It is a discriminatory practice to communicate or cause to be communicated hate speech by means of the Internet or any other means of telecommunication in a context in which the hate speech is likely to foment detestation or vilification of an individual or group of individuals based on a prohibited ground of discrimination.

The Commission may deal with a complaint in relation to a discriminatory practice described in section 13 without disclosing, to the person against whom the complaint was filed or to any other person, the identity of the alleged victim, the individual or group of individuals that has filed the complaint or any individual who has given evidence or assisted the Commission in any way in dealing with the complaint.

The bill also raises “the maximum punishments for the four hate propaganda offences from 5 years to life imprisonment for advocating genocide and from 2 years to 5 years for the others when persecuted by way of indictment.”

Furthermore, C-63 adds a new definition of “hatred” gleaning from the past decision of the Supreme Court of Canada to the Criminal Code:

Content that foments hatred [as any content] content that expresses detestation or vilification of an individual or group of individuals on the basis of a prohibited ground of discrimination, within the meaning of the Canadian Human Rights Act, and that, given the context in which it is communicated, is likely to foment detestation or vilification of an individual or group of individuals on the basis of such a prohibited ground.

For greater certainty and for the purposes of the definition content that foments hatred, content does not express detestation or vilification solely because it expresses disdain or dislike or it discredits, humiliates, hurts or offends.

However, private communications apps like WhatsApp and other ones like it are excluded in the bill.

‘Anybody will also be able to file complaints against others for “posting hate speech online” that is discriminatory against protected categories such as gender, race, disability and others,’ True North added.

By extension the bill will also permit anyone filing a complaint against individuals posting so-called hate speech with the Canadian Human Rights Commission. If ruled guilty, Canadians will be faced with a potential fine of $70,000 and takedown orders for the flagged content, should they transgress the updated definition of “hatred.”

The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal would also be granted the power to issue payments of up to $20,000 for victims of purported online hate, including an order to pay the government $50,000 “if the member panel considers it appropriate.”

Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre, a very heavy critic of Trudeau and the Liberals, blasted the bill by stating “What does Justin Trudeau mean when he says… the word hate speech? He means speech he hates.”

This bill introduction comes just days after PM Trudeau chided against independent creators and users undermining mainstream media, wanting increased regulations. Trudeau has already indicated that he wants a registry for podcasters for the right to exist.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.

Isaiah 3:5

Western nations are all introducing and implementing these very restrictive and oppressive online censorship bills in concert together.

The U.S. has already introduced similar acts before but have currently stalled, for the time being that is. Nearly one year ago a coalition of bipartisan Senators introduced the RESTRICT Act, touted as being a way to wrangle in TikTok and foreign influence. But the bill has very little to do with any of that and would represent a massive power grab over what Americans can post online, and would targets people using a VPN.

Another bill is the EARN IT Act, that failed in 2020 but was reintroduced by some of the same characters who presented RESTRICT in 2022. This would vastly overhaul the surveillance system in the U.S., forcing all messages and communications of any kind in the digital sense to be scanned.

Australia last year introduced their The Communications Legislation Amendment (Combating Misinformation and Disinformation) Bill 2023, similar to what Canada is presenting currently, with heavy fines and jailtime included.

Meanwhile other countries have already implemented very restrictive internet measures. New Zealand in 2022 introduced a program to allow the public to snitch on each other if they are believed to be a “terrorist” and a critic of the government, which includes a wide spectrum of items that may cause a neighbor to tattletale on their neighbors.

This week the EU’s Digital Services Act is coming into play, and that is worrisome because it forces tech companies to essentially, or at least very potentially, force hosting platforms and companies to scrub their services of any content they don’t want to be on there. Within a few clicks, in theory, people’s work, content, and speech can be eliminated.

In short, with all these bills in play, and more to come, on top of the already longstanding ones in place, no one will be able to post anything that contradicts the media narrative in the slightest; and AI will no doubt create tons of false positives as it already has been.

As terrible and oppressive as all this stuff is (and it indeed is), this means we will need to seriously keep working to make the transition to go underground, communicating offline. This privilege is quickly running out; and what we say out loud is also under scrutiny. Therefore, friends, whether you like it or not, will need to get your tongue under control, and be careful what you say and where, online and offline.

Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

Curse not the king, no not in thy thought; and curse not the rich in thy bedchamber: for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.

Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.

Proverbs 21:23; Ecclesiastes 10:20; Amos 5:13

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Reading your KJV and carrying it with you. Wearing bible verses on your clothing and passing out gospel tracts. Sounds harmless enough to me (Phil 2:15)

    • It’s harmless and definitely pleasing to God. But to the devil, false christianity, Roman Catholicism, and evil of any and all kinds, it is a beacon for God’s judgement to pinpoint and strike as well as to get the Gospel to somebody. I love it!

    • Mike, it sounds harmless enough to you, but to the demon-possessed, it’s like light to a vampire. Doing as you said will get you in VERY serious trouble in Kanadastan, as it is in the Divided States of Amerika! I’ll bet we (Kanadians) will be allowed to wear clothing that quotes the Qu ‘ran or promotes the alphabet soup stooges though! It’s fulfillment of Isa. 5: 20, 21.

  • It follows on logically that, if this bill is enacted into law, Canada would then have to criminalize any “gender fluidity” being taught in it’s schools since it most definitely sexualizes children.

  • As crazy Canucks, none of us were asked for any input on any of these bills that become laws. Yet, we’re expected to abide by them. Most won’t even know about them until they or someone they love, has been arrested for breaking such! The legislators are asking for trouble, and I believe some disgruntled vets with PTSD will probably give it to them.

“Remembrance Day” in 2024 (if we’re still here), will fulfill the title of the article I wanted to write many years ago, and didn’t: “Remembrance Day, the Day We Remember the Rights and Freedoms We Used to Have”.

“The safety, the mental health and even the lives of our kids and our most vulnerable are at stake.” They didn’t care about the kids, seniors, or anybody when they ordered them to take poisoned pokes in the arm or contaminated probes shoved into their brain cavity via the nose! They weren’t concerned for children when they put poisons in ALL our foods and beverages! Why the sudden interest now? It has NOTHING to do with children; that’s a smoke screen. It’s all about dealing with dissidents and their removal from society / the planet!

This total removal of free thought and speech is psychological warfare and torture because people will be afraid to speak to each other, as they were in Hitler’s day. Crime Minister Castreau is doing this to protect himself and his loyal cronies, in obeisance to his Chinese captors . This will ensure they’re curbing any rebellious group from forming against them.

“The Commission may deal with a complaint in relation to a discriminatory practice described in section 13 without disclosing, to the person against whom the complaint was filed or to any other person, the identity of the alleged victim, the individual or group of individuals that has filed the complaint or any individual who has given evidence or assisted the Commission in any way in dealing with the complaint.”

This is nothing new; many years ago, while on Unemployment Insurance, someone allegedly lodged a false complaint against me. My temporary income was being threatened by a ghost that I was never allowed to know the identity of. This is extremely dangerous because they can make up a charge against anybody…w/out proof or witnesses! This is a very clever way of removing their perceived opponents. People will soon be disappearing in my beautiful country, an act in and of itself to instill even further fear into the masses. Many will withdraw, and to become depressed and suicidal. This is where MAiD will become the “savior” of the day for millions of people who will “refuse to live this way”. They’ll be playing right into the hand of the tyrants!

“The bill also raises “the maximum punishments for the four hate propaganda offences from 5 years to life imprisonment for advocating genocide and from 2 years to 5 years for the others when persecuted by way of indictment.”

Isn’t genocide exactly what the government has been doing to us for many years? Outsiders will say, “Here’s the chance for Cdns to charge the government with willful genocide via the poisoned pokes, toxins in the foods and beverages, etc.!” We won’t waste our breath, time, or energy. The courts and public inquiries are stacked with liberal lunatics who no longer observe the Constitution or the laws. We’re all fish in a barrel, waiting to be speared or shot; the DSA (Divided States of Amerika) are yoked together with us. It’s been happening there since J-6.

It’s less than amusing to see them change the meaning of words such as “hate”. How convenient! The ones who are hated the most are the ones making the laws! Poilievre was correct; “Hate speech is anything Trudeau hates.” It sounds good, doesn’t it! He’s cut from the same cloth, a wolf in sheep’s clothing!

“Anybody will also be able to file complaints against others…” So many times I could’ve done that to those who rail out at me online with their hate speech! When two people get into a dispute, a quick phone call will “deal with” the opponent, whether or not that person is guilty of anything. Whoever calls the “cops” first wins the court case! In this case, Cdns will not have a trial; it will be straight to jail / prison. This is deadly serious legislation because a person who wants his neighbor’s property or spouse can lodge a false complaint, and then take what they want after the accused has been pickled away in prison.

“If ruled guilty, Canadians will be faced with a potential fine of $70,000 and takedown orders for the flagged content, should they transgress the updated definition of “hatred.” This will financially ruin the ordinary person. The “updated definition of ‘hatred” is a blanket that protects the tyrants on every level!

“The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal would also be granted the power to issue payments of up to $20,000 for victims of purported online hate, including an order to pay the government $50,000 “if the member panel considers it appropriate.”

There will be a flood of false accusations, simply to get some easy money! This is turning citizen against citizen, causing them to “eat their own”, while the tyrants watch from a distance! “When they’re fighting against each other, they’re leaving us alone! Another champagne, Dahling?” This is going to be “The Purge”.

The A.I.-generated graphic of our Crime Minister is priceless! When I tried to get it to draw a picture of him, it refused my request, with a flimsy lie / excuse. It must be allowed to do that in Amerika.

Setting the stage for people to snitch on each other is what they did in WW2; history is repeating itself…with finesse this time. There will be “no prisoners” at the end of the day. They’re not going to feed and clothe “useless eaters” for any length of time. This will be their opportunity to exterminate the opposition (cleaning up the literal “carbon footprint”; population control), and their families at home won’t be any the wiser. This has nothing to do with “climate change”, apart from the coolness that will come from millions of collective dead bodies prior to cremation.

“This week the EU’s Digital Services Act is coming into play, and that is worrisome because it forces tech companies to essentially, or at least very potentially, force hosting platforms and companies to scrub their services of any content they don’t want to be on there. Within a few clicks, in theory, people’s work, content, and speech can be eliminated.” Got to keep the people in the dark… to maintain control over them!

This analysis would’ve been fun, if it hadn’t been so dangerously deadly. MAiD, anyone?
