For roughly a little less than the last two years I have been doing a simple exercise that’s completely free, and is very beneficial for your overall health, and it is something I encourage you to try as well.

The exercise is hanging: simply just gripping a bar, post, tree branch, etc., and dangle from it as long as you can.

Due to the modern lifestyle for most people, confined to a chair most of their day, and staring at their smartphones hunched over, especially for men sitting too long on their porcelain thrones – people’s postures have become not good to say the least, which has led to back pain and other related injuries.

Hanging remedies this, as the exercise helps stretch and decompress your upper back, pectorals, and shoulders, while also overtime increasing your hand and arm strength.

The best part is it will cost you nothing and the gains are substantial. I recommend that you learn how to do it as you will see noticeable improvements in your overall bodily health, and as you progress you can start to perform more advanced techniques.

Watch some of these videos below to learn how to properly do it and understand some of the science behind it.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • I started doing pull-ups and chin-ups independently without a gym partner since I was 27 and I love doing them!

They definitely help with back strength. Whenever I can get a chance, I’m getting back in the gym and I am hitting that pull-up bar like a maniac!

    Do pull-ups and chin-ups count?

  • Did anyone else hear the guy in the second video say that we are made to hang because we elvolved from apes? I was created by the Lord Jesus Christ which is God he is my maker.

    • everything has become contamined now a days especially with chemtrails. the only areas that are not contaminated is the elites lands pretty much sonce the safeguard their crops and resources of course.

only God can holpen the church.

  • I have been doing this for a while, not being aware that there is actually specific science behind this. All I knew is that it felt good on my back. Also, pull ups for many years now, greatly improved my gripping strength, including other benefits.

  • I bet the blood circulation is getting into the joints from hanging as well. I’ve also been sleeping on the floor for the past almost 2 years now, though carpeted. And I’ve noticed that I’ve gained a bit of height from it. I would say I gained close to 1 inch. Maybe I just had bad posture for so long and it straitened it out of something. It was hard to do in the first weeks of doing it and it came with it’s share of pain, but I feel totally fine now and have adapted fairly well. Also thought it would be a good skill to learn from a minimalist stand point, best for survival.
