Malaysia is just one of the hundreds of nations working towards a digital ID framework. The digital IDs are needed to facilitate the CBDCs and social credit scores, and so therefore this system still must be established first.
Of course, the government has to quell “conspiracies” about microchipping, so more censorship, of course. But, anyone with sense knows where this is going, and it WILL eventually result in microchipping.
