More college courses dedicated to Taylor Swift have been added to the academic canon for 2024, including a class at one of the most famous universities in the world: Harvard.
Starting in the spring, both Harvard University and the University of Florida will offer studies on the 33-year-old pop star: “Taylor Swift and Her World” and “Musical Storytelling With Taylor Swift and other Iconic Female Artists,” respectively. Summaries of the courses are already available online.
At Harvard, English department instructor Stephanie Burt will guide students through examinations of fan culture, celebrity culture, adolescence, adulthood and appropriation, as well as approaches to white texts, Southern texts, transatlantic texts and queer subtexts. “We will learn how to think about illicit affairs and hoaxes, champagne problems and incomplete closure,” adds the course description on Harvard’s website, referencing track titles on Swift’s Folklore and Evermore albums.
Meanwhile, UF’s Melina Jimenez will oversee “13 gorgeous weeks of discussing Taylor Swift’s discography, with a focus on her evergreen songwriting,” according to the institution’s similarly song reference-filled course description. Students will also “draw parallels between Swift’s enchanting lyrics and works by other famous female masterminds” while dissecting themes such as “old flames, infidelity, aging and double standards.”
Harvard and University of Florida are just two of the latest schools to offer Swiftian studies, following in the footsteps of institutions such as University of Texas, Arizona State University, Stanford University and UC Berkeley. The fast-growing trend in Taylor-themed classes stems from New York University’s groundbreaking Swift course taught by Rolling Stone writer Brittany Spanos, which was launched early last year. Soon after, the “Anti-Hero” singer received an honorary doctorate from the university and spoke at its spring 2022 commencement ceremony.

The news comes on the heels of Swift closing out her final Eras Tour show of 2023, wrapping up three nights in São Paulo, Brazil, Sunday night (Nov. 26). It’s proven to be a blockbuster year for the 12-time Grammy winner, who picked up six more Recording Academy nominations earlier this month, in addition to winning 10 Billboard Music Awards. She’s also released two albums this year alone – Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and 1989 (Taylor’s Version) — while also reportedly reaching billionaire status thanks to her global Eras trek and corresponding concert film.

I mean, this really goes to show you where the United States is at, that from coast to coast, some of the supposed highest forms of academia and “education” are now actually providing courses and giving credits, over the study of a wicked harlot and whoremonger.

‘Sottish’ is a word that we don’t really use anymore, and is used once in the King James Bible, but it basically means “stupid.” That’s what the Lord is saying, as this verse is perfect for Americans of today: they are imbecilic, with no knowledge and instruction on anything that is good and just, but are quite the experts on evil and abominations. Jeremiah 4:22 sums it up well.
If you don’t think goddess worship exists today you’d be quite foolish. The elevation and idolatry of Taylor Swift is incredible. The worship of abhorrent and despicable people is certainly nothing new, but the bombardment of Taylor Swift worship and adulation daily is just out of control and nauseating to hear.

Offering college courses, and eventually college degrees or majors in Taylor Swift studies (Swiftology) you gotta be kidding me! What’s next, courses or majors in Cardi B. and Offset? A Bachelor of Arts in Guns N Roses or a Bachelor of Science in Jay-Z?
Not only are these worthless degrees (making up for I’d say maybe 68 percent of degrees offered maybe more) are creating a bunch of debtor slaves who can only work at McDonald’s or Baskin Robbins, but it is also bringing down the economy!

Taylor Swift news? Why bother and why waste time on someone like her
It’s not a waste of time. This emphasizes the current degrading state of society, magnifies the scriptures along with instructing less-experienced young Christians who are still caught up with these celebrities on how scriptures apply to our present times, proving to the lost unbelievers as well that the King James Bible is not archaic but a timely, eternal book that covers all of time, and everything that happens: past, present and future.
Celebrities and popular music have very crucial roles in Satan’s system: to blind people and steer them away from God. They are extremely effective in influencing people’s minds. And very accessible to all walks of life, whether the highly educated or the most illiterate, the young or old.
(Someone who doesn’t know the English language or living in a secluded tribe in a forest somewhere can still be mesmerized and influenced by a Hollywood celebrity or musician, if exposed enough times.)
One example is how they use Hollywood and the music industry to effectively push agendas, one being the Covid death shots. And how movies, TV shows and music can easily break through critical thinking to plant subliminal messages, philosophical ideas, you name it, into people’s minds. You’ll be surprised with how much of people’s personalities, habits and words are influenced by idolized celebrities, rock stars or any popular figure out there, depending on how much exposure they’ve had; and if they continue to fill their heads with these things.

Reason why we should fill our heads with scriptures and other sources of truth instead, to counter the brainwashing we’ve all been subjected to since birth. Rewire pathways in the brain. Repetition, renewing the mind with scriptures:

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the ***renewing of your mind***, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Sort of like practicing an instrument. The more you practice scales on the guitar, slowly and accurately, your fingers eventually and automatically fall onto the fretboard with less effort (I’m not saying this has the same importance as the Bible, just an example. Frankly, in my opinion, with what’s going on in our times today, the hour is getting late. This would be a great waste of time).
I think experienced Christians forget this sometimes. But we need to also keep in mind the lost and newly-saved brethren out there, with the things we say or post online publicly. To have charity, with intentions to try our best to teach them and make them see truth, in the process, we teach ourselves also.
Well I’m surprised it’s not Beyonce or at least adding her to the list with the airheads that will line up for the course. With all the horrible things going on in the world, they choose this trollop for a subject? Wow, this world IS going to hell in a handbasket and very soon.
