The following report is by The Blaze:
The victim, a man in his 40s, was attempting to diagnose an issue with a pick-and-place robot’s sensor at the Donggoseong Export Agricultural Complex in the southern county of Goseong, as there was an equipment test planned for later in the week, reported the Register.
The paprika-sorting robot, reportedly created and installed by the victim’s employer, spotted the man with its sensor, figured him for a box of vegetables, then seized him using its arms and tongs. After grabbing the technician, the robot apparently smashed him against a conveyor belt.
According to the Korean-language Yonhap News Agency, the victim’s face and chest were crushed. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
An official from the agricultural complex said the company has come to rely upon robots more and humans less and that the accident occurred after the facility attempted to make robots more efficient. The official added that “a precise and safe system must be established.”
On account of South Korea’s dwindling workforce, robots, smart and dumb, have become ubiquitous.
Nikkei Asia reported last year that a rising minimum wage and a dearth of workers have made robots price-competitive in a variety of industries. For instance, robot waiters and robot chefs, introduced four years ago, are now in restaurants across the country. Robotic chefs can apparently fry 50 chickens an hour or cook up spicy rice cakes for five people in under 10 minutes. Fleshy and inspirited concierges are also fast being replaced by silicon and steel, although doesn’t seem their charm has yet been replicated.
According to the International Federation of Robotics, South Korea, the fourth-largest robot market in the world, has 1,000 robots installed per 10,000 employees, such that as of 2021, the country had the highest industrial robot density in the world by a giant margin.
Kang Jin-gi, lead investigator at the Goseong Police Station, indicated the South Korean worker’s killer “wasn’t an advanced, artificial intelligence-powered robot, but a machine that simply picks up boxes and puts them on pallets,” reported the Washington Post.
An unnamed police official suggested that the victim may have had a box in his hands at the time of the incident, which might explain why the robot snatched him up.
It’s clearly not a case where a robot confused a human with a box — this wasn’t a very sophisticated machine.
Said the official.
In February, the American Journal of Industrial Medicine revealed that between 1992 and 2017, 41 people were reportedly killed by robots; 85% of the victims were men, the plurality falling between the ages of 35 and 44.
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
While accidents and even death at the workplace and warehouses are nothing new, the fact that this robot could mess up this badly just shows you how untrustworthy the technology is, and why annual casual and logical thinker envisions a Terminator-esk situation in the works, especially when they become fully autonomous.
Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.
Proverbs 26:27
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

Welcome to the new and exciting world of artificial intelligence, where you could have your chest cavity completely crushed in by an “intelligent” machine that mistakes you for a box of vegetables. No conspiracy here!
God forbid we have Robocops, if you do something super minor like jay-walking or you toss a candy bar wrapper on the floor instead of the trash can, it’ll say “Freeze, show me your hands or I will shoot,” and then “BAM BAM BAM!” You’re dead!
Trust the process, hehehe, things have to be dialed in a bit; just a couple lines of code to rewrite and we’re in process of updating software, this was a very rare occurrence, hehe
Progress is not a smooth operation.
No robots were harmed during the reloading. hehe
WELCOME TO ELYSIUM. THE MOVIE FORESHADOWS THIS EVENT. DON;T TELL ME THAT MURDER WAS NOT PLANNED. THEY WANTED TO SEE IF THE ROBOT COULD BE PROGRAMMED TO KILL AND THE EXPERIMENT, LIKE COVID VAXX KILLING, WAS A SMASHING SUCCESS. ACCIDENT, YEAH, RIGHT, SURE, UH-HUH. “THEY KILLED SOMEONE INTENTIONALLY CALLING IT AN ACCIDENT FOR WHICH NOBODY GETS A LIFE IN PRISON SENTENCE OR AN EXECUTION FOR PRE-MEDITATED PLANNED EXECUTION AS A LABORATORY TEST. I STOPPED BELIEVING THE TRASH NARRATIVES THESE EVIL CREATURES TRY TO SELL TO THE PUBLIC LONG AGO. IT WAS INTENTIONAL AND THEY ARE ALL CELEBRATING BY FLYING THEIR PRIVATE JETS TO DAVOS TO AWARD THIS VILE COMPANY ALL SORT OF LAVISH TRAPPINGS FOR BEING THE FIRST TO INTENTIONALLY KILL SOMEONE WITH ONE OF THEIR ROBOTS.
ACCIDENT MY ASS. THAT THING WAS PROGRAMMED TO DO EXACTLY WHAT IT DID. KILL AND WE ARE NEXT. 50 CALIBER TIME FOR ME
agreed!
Psalms 69:22
Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.
Unrelated, but I’m really struggling trying to resonate with Catholics. They always try to use 2 Thess. 2:15 to bash on 1 Tim. 2:5. Does anyone know what other scripture to use to refute this argument? Thanks in advance!
Cynthia,
Look at Matthew 15:1-9 and let me know what you think.
Thanks Tara. I’ve actually tried those… I guess they’re just a lost case and I should just let them keep following the blind. They’re too self-righteous… sigh…
This is a quick reply, so this won’t be very detailed.
Ask them: where in the New Testament of the King James Bible is it instructed to do all of the Catholic religious ceremonies and “activities” that they do? Ask them about their Catholic terminologies like “pope”, “holy sacrament”, “eucharist”, “trinity”, etc.; where do these appear in scripture? Where does it say to have a Gentile priest for Christians; not to mention, they teach that a Catholic priest is a substitute for Christ (“vicar” of Christ, rejecting 1 Tim 2:5); or to build a “church” and fill it with statues, deify Mary, physically punish themselves by flogging their backs bloody or getting nailed on the cross, and so on?
These are part of Catholic traditions that came from lost men, their Catholic leaders in past generations. “Traditions” in 2 Thess 2:15 doesn’t apply to them.
In 2 Thess 2:15, the traditions here refer generally to the word of God and comes from God directly through the Bible, including the doctrine of salvation, the doctrine of the Godhead, etc., revealed to Paul, the other apostles, and other disciples (see Webster’s 1828 for definitions of “tradition”); teachings that they passed along or delivered to the people, both spoken (by word) and written (our epistle; the completed Bible). They appear in the New Testament, so these are traditions that God commands for Christians to have and do. This includes the OT commandments that are not done away in the New Testament, and also the entire Bible’s instructions for righteousness, OT and NT, with respect to dispensations.
The other traditions pertaining to Jews in the Old Testament that they also have the liberty to practice and observe in the New Testament like not eating pork, their feast days e.g. Passover, Sabbath Day, etc.; though they can choose not to after they become Christians (Acts 10:9-16, Romans 14, Galatians 3:28, Colossians 3:11). Keeping in mind also that a Gentile Christian must not offend a Jewish Christian who chooses to practice his biblical and cultural traditions that God approves of; for example, we avoid offending a saved Jewish guest by cooking and serving pork dishes if he adheres to his dietary traditions (Rom 14).
The traditions Catholics have come from men, and do not align with the KJB whatsoever, e.g. their “holy” communion: eating the host is a twisting of the scriptures where communion (see Webster’s 1828) is to have fellowship with the Lord, by examining and judging ourselves of sins and repenting, and obeying his word (among other things). Nowhere does it say in scripture to clang tiny bells, have a Catholic priest in a dress, raise up a wafer and put it in people’s mouths. And all the rest of their silly, religious traditions that were made up out of thin air, and created by twisting scriptures, passed along from lost generation to lost generation.
Here, traditions of men are condemned:
Mark 7:7-9, 13, Colossians 2:8
Emphasize verse 13 in Mark 7. They may not understand that the commandment of God is also synonymous with the word of God, meaning the King James Bible.
So, traditions in 2 Thess 2:15 strictly applies to what God sanctions in his word for saved people, again, with careful consideration to dispensations in the KJB.

Thank you for your help. I’ll try it out! God bless you!
Cynthia,
I think Colossians 2:5-11 could also be helpful.
We can be sure many more such deaths will occur as men and women evolve into box-like shapes! That robot was just a few weeks ahead of his time. It happens everyday…somewhere! Like everything else, evolution must be speeding up too! After all…men can now have babies and breast feed, and women can…we’ll just let that one slide! There’s just no keeping up with evilution! The real amazing thing is that it didn’t take 250 million years +- a day for that evolution to happen. It was an A.I> miracle!
Of course I’m being sarcastic re: the evilution, but the robots were first designed to replace people, and it appears to be by any means possible. Apparently, they’re doing what they’re designed to do. Imagine that…they needed a designer…much the same of humans also did.
I believe that millions of these weaponized robots MAY BE the mighty army that Christ strikes down in the Battle of Armageddon. Of course, there will be a number of humans who survived the G. Tribulation…probably human shields. If Jesus doesn’t come soon, there won’t be many “biologics” to use as shields, thanks to the horrors of the G. Tribulation.
There’s lots to think about in this story, including future implications tied with Scripture. Thanks, Jacob!
THERE IS NOTHING TO THINK ABOUT OR PONDER. IT IS WHAT IT IS, THE FIRST MURDER BY A HUMAN HIDING BEHIND A MACHINE PROGRAMMED BY THAT HUMAN. WHOEVER PROGRAMMED THAT THING NEEDS TO BE EXECUTED FOR PRE-MEDITATED MURDER BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT GUNS KILL ALL BY THEMSELVES BUT NOT ROBOTS. GUNS HAVE NO COMPUTER PROGRAM BEHIND THEM BUT THESE ROBOTS DO HAVE PROGRAMMING DONE BY THE SLOTH POS WHO OWNS THAT, I CANNOT USE THE TERMS I WANT ON THIS FORMAT, HELLISH COMPANY THAT OWNS THE ROBOT. THE ROBOT IS NOT GUILTY, THE CREATURE WHO PROGRAMMED IT IS A HOMICIDAL, PSYCHOPATHIC MONSTER FROM HELL. NEEDS TO BE EXECUTED BY DRAWING AND QUATERING S L O W L Y TO SEND A MESSAGE AND STOP THIS BEFORE IT RAMPS UP WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY GOING TO HAPPEN.. ELYSIUM IS HERE, NOW
There’s a reason why they call it ARTIFICIAL intelligence, it’s because it’s not real intelligence, it’s stupid that’s all,
CORRECT, IT WAS PROGRAMMED BY A SLOTH CREATURE TO DO JUST WHAT IT DID. MACHINES ONLY DO WHAT THEY ARE PROGRAMMED TO DO. THIS ONE WAS PROGRAMMED TO KILL A HUMAN AS A TEST TO SEE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN AND HOW EASILY IT COULD BE DONE. ELYSIUM IS HERE AND WE ARE NOT INVITED
