“This is a time for war. A war for a common future. Today we draw a line between the forces of civilization and the forces of barbarism. It is a time for everyone to decide where they stand,” he said.

Today Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that they will not consider peaceful negotiations or a ceasefire until Hamas is eradicated, claiming that doing so would represent a “surrender to Hamas and terrorism.”

This comes after the United Nations reached a majority decision that called for truce and peaceful resolution, which Israel and the United States were among those rejecting the resolution.

During his address to the world in English the PM stated:

I want to make clear Israel’s position regarding a ceasefire. Just as the United States would not agree to a ceasefire after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, or after the terrorist attack of 9/11, Israel will not agree to a cessation of hostilities with Hamas.

After the horrific attacks of October 7, calls for a ceasefire are calls for Israel to surrender to Hamas, to surrender to terrorism, to surrender to barbarism. That will not happen.

There is a time for peace and a time for war.

This is a time for war. A war for a common future. Today we draw a line between the forces of civilization and the forces of barbarism. It is a time for everyone to decide where they stand.

[Hamas’s actions are] the worst savagery our people have seen since the Holocaust.

Hamas murdered children in front of their parents, murdered parents in front of their children. They burned people alive, they raped women, they beheaded men, they tortured Holocaust survivors, they kidnapped babies.

Israel will stand against the forces of barbarism until victory. I hope and pray that civilized nations everywhere will back this fight.

Israel’s fight is your fight because if Hamas and Iran’s axis of evil win, you will be their next target. That’s why Israel’s victory will be your victory. But make no mistake, regardless of who stands with Israel, Israel will fight until this battle is won, and Israel will prevail.

It begins with knowing the difference between good and evil, between right and wrong… It means making a moral distinction between the deliberate murder of the innocent and the unintentional casualties that accompany every legitimate war.

As long as Hamas’s use of Palestinian human shields results in the international community blaming Israel, Hamas will continue to use [the practice] as a tool of terror. Hamas will continue to use the basements in Gaza’s hospitals as the command posts of its vast terror tunnel network. It will continue to use mosques as fortified military positions and weapon depots. It will continue to steal fuel and humanitarian assistance from UN facilities.

The US is also not in favor of a ceasefire either. National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said in a statement:

We do not believe that a ceasefire is the right answer right now. We do not support a ceasefire at this time.

Netanyahu was also asked if Israel was carrying out “collective punishment against the people of Palestine,” one reporter inquired. The PM said that “not a single civilian has to die. Hamas has to merely let them go to the safe zone” in southwestern Gaza that the IDF constructed after asserting all civilian to leave the northern sector of the coastal enclave two weeks ago. “Hamas is preventing them from leaving, keeping them in the areas of conflict,” Netanyahu clarified.

Netanyahu also referenced a story in World War II where British forces accidently struck a children’s hospital and caused the death of 84 children. He added,

That is not a war crime. That is not something you blamed Britain for doing. That was a legitimate act of war with tragic consequences that accompany such legitimate actions.

And you didn’t tell the Allies, don’t stamp out Nazism because of such tragic consequences… They knew that the future of our civilization was at stake. Well, I’m telling you right now that the future of our civilization is at stake. We have to win this war. We’ll do it by minimizing civilian casualties. And may we succeed.

Israel was accused of intentionally striking a hospital in Gaza that killed hundreds including many children, though the IDF claims it was a misfire that landed in the parking lot – an action that has routinely been cited by international media as evidence of Israel’s brutality.

Netanyahu also responded to claims that he might resign due to the systematic failure to protect Israel against the October 7th attacks. He rejected this notion and said, “The only thing that I intend to have resign is Hamas. We are going to resign them to the dustbin of history. That’s my goal. That’s my responsibility. That’s what I’m leading the country to do. This is my responsibility now.”

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

Earlier today I reported on mainstream media’s admission (finally) that Ukraine is a lost cause and Zelensky is growing very frustrated with the U.S. and NATO allies. Zelensky’s statements he made in recent weeks in that report, and since day one of their war, mimic Netanyahu’s verbatim. Netanyahu just recently had said on October 28th that “the second stage” of the campaign is underway and said Israelis should anticipate “a difficult and long war.”

When Bibi says, “This is a time for war. A war for a common future. Today we draw a line between the forces of civilization and the forces of barbarism. It is a time for everyone to decide where they stand” – this is the same rhetoric George W. Bush used post-9/11 to justify going into Iraq for that endless war. “Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists,” Bush once remarked.

A familiar foe also said something similar about there not being a ceasefire:

Don’t mistake me: Israel has every right and obligation to retaliate; but what I am also saying is that this whole war was clearly staged and prepared to happen well in advance, and most actions will automatically trigger an escalation in some facet; and so to hear that this war will drag on for a while is not surprising but standard operating procedure; and, people are getting lured into this war just like Americans did with Bush and Iraq. Stay levelheaded is all I am advocating war. That does not change my stance on Bible prophecy and the fulfillment of scripture concerning Israel.

Plus, it is worth reminding the reader that Netanyahu is a VERY corrupt man, as can be read here:

Of course, we all know what the root of no peace talks are about:

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

1 Timothy 6:10

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
