Dr. Rochelle Walensky, Director of the CDC told reporters on Wednesday that teachers do not need to be vaccinated in order for schools to have a safe reopen.
I also want to be clear that there is increasing data to suggest that schools can safely reopen and that safe reopening does not suggest that teachers need to be vaccinated in order to reopen safely.

According to The Epoch Times, Walensky said the CDC is following guidance from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) about who should get vaccinated first. The ACIP has categorized teachers as essential workers, who stand at the 1-B level for priority of vaccination.
The ACIP is made up of medical and public health experts who develop recommendations for the safest use of vaccines by the public.
So while we are implementing the criteria of the advisory committee and of the state and local guidances to get vaccination across these eligible communities, I would also say that vaccination of teachers is not a prerequisite for the safe reopening of schools
There has been a long debate since the summer of 2020 if the schools should be reopened or not. A study conducted by National Center for Research on Education Access and Choice from Tulane University, found in-person outweighs the risks of health effects from Covid.
Our results suggest that school reopenings have not increased COVID-19 hospitalizations, especially for the 75% of counties that had the lowest baseline hospitalizations.

Even though the CDC says teachers do not need the vaccines for a safe reopen, the mainstream media and government still pushes that they get vaccinated.

Typical of the media. When the health officials and big pharma overlords actually say something a bit truthful and goes against the predetermined narrative, the media goes and says the opposite. You could even hear the artificial skepticism and fear in the voice and face of Brian Williams of MSNBC, as he tries to go against what the CDC has to say.
The move to open up schools, and keep them open, usually is advocated by those on the right. It just boggles my mind how these conservative parents continually rip on the liberal-controlled school systems, but still send their children off to be brainwashed and propagandized with Covid protocols. Never ceases to amaze me.
But this new statement from the CDC proves that the propaganda is starting to backfire, and the media is forced to do damage control to keep the lie going as much as they can. Many frontline workers, who were some of the first in line to get the vaccine, rejected it – which caused a panic in the media and health officials. That is being brushed aside and the media is limiting any mention of that. Since more and more people are weary and rejecting the vaccines, the criminal overlords are subtly easing up on the vaccinations.
