Enacted on September 8th, the Governor announced a temporary 30-day suspension over the right to have open and conceal carry firearms, via an executive order that she claims is a “public health emergency.” The order expires on October 6th.
Today I issued a 30-day ban on the open & concealed carrying of guns in Albuquerque and Bernalillo County. Gun violence is killing between 2 and 3 children every month in NM – every single one of these deaths is unconscionable and they must stop.

According to the executive order, the Governor and her administration wrote:
WHEREAS, these gun-related deaths and injuries have resulted in devastating physical and emotional consequences for individuals, families, and communities throughout the State;
WHEREAS, the impact of gun violence extends beyond physical injuries and fatalities causing emotional trauma, economic burdens, and long-lasting consequences for those affected individuals and their families;
WHEREAS, the increasing number of gunshot victims strains our already over-burdened healthcare system and places undue pressure on medical professionals and resources;
WHEREAS, after consulting with the Secretary of the Department of Health, I have determined that the foregoing situation constitutes a statewide public health emergency of unknown duration, as defined by the Public Health Emergency Response Act; and
WHEREAS, the foregoing situation also constitutes a man-made disaster causing or threatening widespread physical or economic harm that is beyond local control and requiring the resources of the State pursuant to the All Hazard Emergency Management Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, 1, Michelle Lujan Grisham, Governor of the State of New Mexico, by the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the State of New Mexico, do hereby DECLARE that a state of public emergency exists throughout the State due to gun violence ORDER and DIRECT as follows:
(1) The Department of Public Health, Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and Department of Public Safety shall immediately begin collaborating with my Office to provide an effective and coordinated response to this public health emergency.
She furthermore said in a statement:
As I said yesterday, the time for standard measures has passed. And when New Mexicans are afraid to be in crowds, to take their kids to school, to leave a baseball game—when their very right to exist is threatened by the prospect of violence at every turn—something is very wrong.
The backlash has been fierce.
Gun Owners of America were quick to respond and immediately moved to file court proceedings. “We will see you in court,” the group said in a statement
Constitutional lawyer Johnathan Turley commented on the news, noting:
Democratic leaders have increasingly turned to a claim used successfully during the pandemic in declaring a health emergency to maximize unilateral authority of governors.
Even if an injunction is secured on the basis of a presumptively unconstitutional act, many will of course celebrate the boldness of Grisham in taking away an individual right under a clever measure. It is, however, too clever by half. If a court decides that this is not moot at the end of the period, New Mexico could supply a vehicle to curtail future such claims.
New Mexico could now prove the next big opportunity for gun rights advocates in tackling the public health rationale for gun control.
As the 2nd Amendment clearly states: “A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”
Judge Andrew Napolitano has also insinuated that it is very possible that she could be arrested for this by state police sheriffs, or even by the FBI, though the latter seems highly unlikely of ever occurring. However, the Judge did note that many of the local sheriffs are refusing to enforce this law anyways.
Indeed, the calls for impeachment have already occurred and sheriff’s departments in the state are not willing to enforce the Governor’s edict.
New Mexico State Representatives Stefani Lord (R-22) and John Block (R-51) called for the impeaching of Governor Grisham.
This is an abhorrent attempt at imposing a radical, progressive agenda on an unwilling populous. Rather than addressing crime at its core, Governor Grisham is restricting the rights of law-abiding gun owners.
Lord stated in a press release published on X.
Sheriff John Allen from Bernalillo County north of Albuquerque announced he will not comply. In statement from his desk, Mr. Allen wrote:
However, as the elected Sheriff, I have reservations regarding this order. While I understand and appreciate the urgency, the temporary ban challenges the foundation of our Constitution, which I swore an oath to uphold. I am wary of placing my deputies in positions that could lead to civil liability conflicts, as well as the potential risks posed by prohibiting law-abiding citizens from their constitutional right to self-defense.
I was elected to represent and safeguard all constituents and to ensure the balance between our rights and public safety is maintained. That means we must critically evaluate any proposed solution to the deeply rooted issue of gun violence, ensuring we both protect our community and uphold the values that define us as a nation.
In 2021 the former CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said that the government health body would begin to monitor and track more gun-related violence, injuries, and death.

This massive intrusion on the Second Amendment is a pilot and social experiment, to see what the people will tolerate and how they will respond to this, hence why it is New Mexico doing this; a state with a little over 2.1 million people, and supposedly had 91% of the population receive at least one Covid death shot.

This is a major test for we the people. If the people of New Mexico obey this unlawful act by their governor, we are doomed as a country. It will spread to every Democrat city in America, which includes just about every major city of 100,000 or more population.
This governor is being used to test the waters. How much do Americans really value their Second Amendment rights? Whether she knows it or not, it’s obvious by the language she has used who she is working for.
By using the term “public health emergency,” this radical New Mexico governor is testing out a policy straight from the United Nations World Health Organization.
The World Health Organization’s proposed pandemic treaty (some call it an accord or “instrument”), as well as the amendments to the International Health Regulations that will be up for a vote at the World Health Assembly in Geneva next May, include the exact same language. The U.S., E.U., U.N. and most nations are on board with changes that will give the decision-making power to declare a “public health emergency of international concern” or of “regional concern” to the WHO. Right now, only sovereign national governments can declare such an emergency, not the WHO.
I’ve argued before that part of the reason for the vague language, “public health emergency,” is so that they can claim “gun violence” is a dire emergency affecting the public health and thereby suspend all private gun ownership rights under the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution or any other law anywhere in the world.
This is the back door through which gun rights get demolished in countries where they haven’t already been cast aside.
So to see a governor of an American state using this language to suspend the Second Amendment is frightening. If she is allowed to get away with this, mark my words, you will see similar declarations in other cities and perhaps entire states.
Now is a key moment in U.S. history. All residents of New Mexico should show up in Albuquerque and open carry. Make a show of it. Get out, in numbers, and defy this edict.
Now is the time for Operation Peaceful Non-compliance. If we pass on this opportunity to defy what has to be the most blatant violation of the Second Amendment to date, then we deserve everything that comes our way. We can kiss the Second Amendment goodbye.
The precedent this move sets cannot be underscored; but as Hohmann said, we cannot allow ourselves to sit back quietly and let this happen. Under no circumstances can you give up your guns. Period.

This woman is most likely another Roman Catholic wench, but in her case she might be just a little more “special”. Her surname, Lujan, is Spanish and originates from the Basque region of Spain, very similar to where Ignatius Loyola hailed from. She comes from a family that has been ensconced in New Mexico for a very long time and could have grown up with a real chip on her shoulder. That’s just me surmising. However, she should be impeached and, In an ideal world, should be shot for treason or at least thrown in jail. Who knows if she has been harboring a hatred for the American gringos for most of her life. Her first husband died in 2004 yet she still uses his WASP sounding name, even though her new husband is Hispanic.

As ‘gods’…..made me want to puke, & it has for years as these types proliferated all around us like toadstools while virtue signaling to high heaven. It’s getting so bad, I can’t even go the grocery store dressed conservatively without sixteen sluts & not sure what sexes raising their voices to speak of all the ‘good deeds’ and issues they’re involved in!
