In March of last year, Dr. Fauci on 60 Minutes said that “there’s no reason to be walking around with a mask.” The claim is that they would stop maybe a droplet or two, and that the masks were just symbolic. The Swedish-Fauci-equivalent has said they are pointless, though the media completely ignores this.
Then when the bulk of the main lockdowns that began in March began to slightly end in late April and early May, Americans were then scared to travel into the same world, terrified of this invisible killer that will strike like a viper. Masks became the new thing and Fauci was cheerleading for it.
And yet Fauci seemed to have “trouble” following his own rules and advocations. Like when the on-air cameras went off, so too did his mask. Or when he went to a baseball game and he had his mask off practically the entire time as he joked it up with his family.
This is also the same man who publicly admits that he continually skewed the vaccine herd immunity numbers based off public acceptance. Conveniently for him, his herd immunity numbers do not require the 20%, and growing, number of people who absolutely do not want one.
The WinePress has been warning about the new wave of federally funded propaganda that was on the way. It has arrived; and some of this propaganda comes in the form of these new virus strains, so Americans must get their vaccines immediately in order to stop the spread of those. Or just a couple of days ago when NBC’s Meet The Press pushed the panic button again by scaring viewers into thinking that a category 5 hurricane wave of Covid is coming.
But a big narrative that is getting pushed is the idea of double masking. Once the media campaign got that train moving, then it quickly expanded to four masks.
In that report, Fauci said that wearing a second mask is just “common sense.”
But then on a weekend interview, Fauci completely contradicted that statement, and then said,
There’s no data that indicates that that is going to make a difference.
But then just today, in an interview with the Washington Post, he contradicted himself again.
The interviewer, David Ignatius, asked Fauci if the CDC is likely to move towards a double-mask recommendation. Fauci responded by saying that is plausible, and the CDC is currently investigating if two masks are better than one. Fauci then refers to the double-masking as “common sense.”
In fact, you have probably seen me wearing a double-mask – is that you can make a general common sense extrapolation, if one mask is a physical barrier – if you put two on, if you are looking to enhancing the physical barrier, it makes common sense that certainly cannot hurt and might help. But it doesn’t yet reach the point of a[n] official recommendation from the CDC because of the lack of data; but, when people tell me or ask me ‘Should I be wearing two masks?’ – I say, ‘Ya know, if it makes you feel better to do two masks, the chances are you are going to get an enhanced protection, so why not go ahead and do it.’

The WinePress has these ‘common sense’ questions to ask:
If double layering, and even going so far as to advocate three and four masks, then why was this not common sense from the get go?
Where did the advocation for face shields and eye goggles go? Do they not offer full protection as Fauci once sold them to be?
Are these “common sense” double masking advocations based off public acceptance of masks – just like Fauci’s herd immunity numbers?
Will Fauci, the CDC, the WHO, do any studies into the effects of breathing limitations of multiple mask wearing?
