An increasing number of Americans are starting to realize that they need to get out of the cities and suburbs, and move off the grid into more rural communities and out in nature.

ZeroHedge reports that they decided to research the popularity of the topic of “Live Off Grid.” They found that a growing number of Americans are increasingly searching for this topic. The top five states where people searched from the most are Oregon, Missouri, Colorado, Tennessee, and Arizona.

ZeroHedge provided their two cents as to why:

The driving force behind finding a rural piece of land for dirt cheap, buying or building a tiny home, installing solar panels, and sourcing your own food and water might have to do with the worst inflation storm in a generation while Democrat cities implode under the weight of soaring violent crime.

We’re not going to speculate on the exact cause, but we’ll give readers an understanding that a combination of the worst housing affordability crisis in decades plus out-of-control crime in progressive-run cities could be some of the largest drivers pushing people to explore living in the ‘sticks.’

With the introduction of SpaceX’s Starlink in 2019, remote workers no longer have to live in crowded, dirty, and dangerous metro areas — many found this out during the exodus of major cities during Covid.

Capitalizing on off-the-grid living is Home Depot, which now sells tiny homes called “Getaway Pad.”

We’ve also seen the RV Industry Association report multiple times this year that parked mobile home shipments are surging on a monthly basis versus the same months last year — yet another indication of housing affordability issues.

Living off the grid can have many benefits, including financial independence, self-sufficiency, preparedness, and security, as well as promoting an active lifestyle, better sleep, and a healthier diet (no need for a Peloton bike or Eli Lilly’s fat drug “Ozempic”).

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

For want and famine they were solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste.

Job 30:3

On top of what ZeroHedge reports, it is also worth noting that crime is basically no longer a crime in a lot of these cities (more on that in a later report), people in general are just out of their minds, and people are simply finally starting to realize this country is heading for desolation, so it’s best (them I mean) to flee now or know how to flee when everything collapses and the zombie hordes need to feast on brains.

I’ve been telling readers since day one that they need to be studying and learning all these different skills to live off the grid, for very long periods and permanently. I’d advise you to make it a goal to, eventually, find your way out of the cities and into God’s creation; but that may require patience and for God to collapse the current structure.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Here on Staten Island, the immigration problem is bad now that Many staten islanders are banding together. Here is some context: Mayor Eric Adams wants to house illegal migrants at an old catholic school & the residents are riraled up. The courts ruled in favor of the Staten Island residents, but the courts reversed the ruling in favor of NYC. Here are some videos:

We are seeing the right being ignited. Praise the LORD that I’m moving to Rochester 9/15 (if things go smooth).

    • Hi Thomas, we will be praying for you definitely that you’re able to move!
The Lord miraculously plucked us up out of the Buffalo area 2 years ago and moved us to a very remote rural location in the Southern tier near Gowanda. Seems like all the cities in New York are bad, where we lived in Cheektowaga (Buffalo suburb) there’s been recent reports of two sex crimes committed by immigrants who are being housed in a hotel there. It’s getting bad everywhere, yet there are still pockets of the countryside that are relatively sheltered so to speak. When we moved, masks were still being mandated in stores, we never once wore them this entire time and when we moved out here we were able to walk into grocery stores without being bothered by anyone. I guess we’ll see what happens with this next coming lockdown.
