UPDATE 1/31/21: The hedge funds are still busy licking their wounds as billions of dollars were lost at the hands of young “redditers” who took the fight to the big boys. Many now have been awakened to the total corruption that has been taking place for quite some time.
That has not stopped the big boys and girls to push back either. Reported by The Verge, Google very conveniently deleted over 100,000 negative 1-star reviews from the Robinhood app – the app that limited the purchasing of the stock because the “hedgies” were getting their heads taken off.
In the wake of all the market manipulation, now people such as the CEO of Nasdaq are calling for more regulations. When the big boys get beat at their own game, they have to make sure the little guy stays out of the club. That “lunch table” is only reserved for the “in crowd.”
However, more of the motivations of these Reddit users have come out.
ZeroHedge reported on what one user who goes by the alias of “SpacePeanut” had to say (the comment has been since removed by moderators on Reddit):

I remember when the housing collapse sent a torpedo through my family. My father’s concrete company collapsed almost overnight. My father lost his home. My uncle lost his home. I remember my brother helping my father count pocket change on our kitchen table. That was all the money he had left in the world. While this was happening in my home, I saw hedge funders literally drinking champagne as they looked down on the Occupy Wall Street protestors. I will never forget that.
My Father never recovered from that blow. He fell deeper and deeper into alcoholism and exists now as a shell of his former self, waiting for death.
This is all the money I have and I’d rather lose it all than give them what they need to destroy me. Taking money from me won’t hurt me, because i don’t value it at all. I’ll burn it all down just to spite them.
This is for you, Dad.

Without elaborating, I know and understand this Reddit user’s sentiment.
I am glad these guys are fighting back against the system. Of course they will not win, but it is not about “winning,” but giving these ghouls on Wall Street some payback.
Do note that there will be some market volatility because of all this chaos; but I believe we are still ways away until the “big one” we have been warning that will occur: but you never know, so continue to prepare accordingly.
After the young group of Reddit users exploited the system and fought back against the bigs for their constant market manipulation and dominance, the popular stock market trading app prevented users from buying stock into GameStop, and a few others as well. Users were only allowed to sell.
In other words, the little guy gets chastened and beat back down into its place, while the bankster gangsters, firms, mega investors and corporations all bailout each other out. This is proof-positive that the markets are being totally rigged. All the people at the top simply have to do is adjust a few algorithms to squeeze out the average joe.
As this Business Insider report puts it, Users of the Reddit forum r/wallstreetbets encouraged each other to bid up GameStop’s stock price, thus causing a short squeeze on the hedge funds betting against GameStop’s stock value. As a result, those short sellers lost more than $1 billion in a single day, while the company’s stock value jumped by hundreds of dollars per share.
Naturally, the backlash is fierce, and many are boycotting the app.
Billionaire investor and owner of AMC theaters, another stock that was stunted, tweeted about the fraud.
The backlash has now led to a class-action lawsuit against the company.
Robinhood has doubled-down and defends their actions by stating on their website,
Our mission at Robinhood is to democratize finance for all,” the statement said. “We continuously monitor the markets and make changes where necessary. In light of recent volatility, we are restricting transactions for certain securities to position closing only.
After such fierce backlash, today Robinhood is now allowing its users to purchase TWO stocks. It has been reported that the app was allowing five, but that appears to have changed.

A Financial Revolution

At precisely 2:32pm Eastern time on May 6, 2010, the US stock market started to drop.
The decline was sudden, and vicious. Within minutes, more than $1 trillion of market capitalization had vanished, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average losing nearly 10% of its value.
This event became known as the ‘Flash Crash’. And early explanations pointed to the big investment banks and their high-tech trading algorithms, i.e. software that could buy and sell stocks without human involvement.
When the market started its decline that day, banks’ trading algorithms went haywire and started selling everything. This caused the market to decline even further, which triggered the algorithms to sell even more.
The humans were powerless to stop it. There were stories of panicked tech teams at investment banks frantically ripping cables out of the floor trying to shut down the machines.
But the selling went on for 36 minutes… during which time the banks and big funds racked up enormous losses.
For me, however, the Flash Crash was great. I was ‘short’ the stock market at the time, meaning I had bet that the market would decline.
And when the market dropped by more than 1,000 points, I happily cashed in.
But two days later I received an email from my broker explaining that they were CANCELING my trade.
The poor little investment banks had lost money because their fancy algorithms didn’t work. So the exchange was giving them a ‘do over’ at my expense.
Incredible. It hadn’t even been two years at that point since the banks had to be bailed out at taxpayer expense during the Global Financial Crisis of 2008.
Then, 20 months later, the Flash Crash happened. And the banks were simply able to wipe all their losses away.
The lesson is obvious: when we screw up, we pay the price for our mistakes. But when the banks screw up, the whole financial system comes to their rescue.
Plenty of people have made this realization over the years.
If you’ve been following the news, you are probably aware that there are a few stocks right now– most notably GameStop (GME), that have soared to incredible heights in a matter of days, thanks to a zealous group of individual investors on reddit and TikTok.
These aren’t titans of finance; they’re a bunch of little guys, many of whom are also frustrated by the rigged financial system.
A bit of background– GameStop is a company that sells video games. And, for years, almost all of their sales have been from their 5500+ stores around the world.
That business model worked really well… in 2005.
Today, most users download video games online directly from the publishers, or they stream games from Google, Amazon, Apple, or Steam. Going into a store and buying a DVD is a thing of the past, and GameStop’s sales have suffered as a result of this trend.
A handful of hedge funds have been betting that GameStop will go out of business soon, or at least that the stock price will continue to decline.
So these funds shorted the stock in a huge (and dubious) way, selling more shares of the company than were actually in existence.
And a number of small investors saw these questionable short positions and said, ‘Enough is enough. We’re tired of hedge funds exploiting the market.’ So they’ve banded together and bid up the price of GameStop’s stock to absolutely epic levels.
GME’s stock price is up from $17 earlier this month, $347 at yesterday’s close, all from these small investors.
And as a result, the hedge funds who shorted GameStop have extreme losses.
Individual investors are angry; comments on the subreddit r/wallstreetbets really sum this up:
“Hedge Funds have literally taken lives through their greed. It’s time for some long overdue taste of their own medicine.”
and
“It’s a class war. It’s time we fought back.”
and
“[Hedge funds: ] This is personal for me, and millions of others. . . I’m making this as painful as I can for you.”
and
“There is and has been a ruling class whose sole purpose is to retain power. They gaslight us into thinking they know what is best for us. 1% knows better than 99%. This is not [about] stocks, this is a financial revolution. . .”
And they’re right. Small investors have been fleeced for years. It’s infuriating. People are angry.
And as we saw over and over again throughout 2020, when people become angry enough, they band together, often in loosely organized mobs, and take action.
Oftentimes that action is destructive (or self-destructive), and even irrational.
We watched people burn buildings in the name of combating discrimination, others descend upon the US Capitol, others destroy people’s lives via Twitter, and yet others assaulting their fellow citizens who weren’t wearing masks.
That’s human nature: we do strange things when we’re angry. But it makes us feel better.
GameStop is similar. The business loses tons of money, lost half of its equity last year, and has a net asset value of just $690 million. Yet at yesterday’s close the company was worth $20+ billion.
(So GameStop’s ‘Price/Book’ ratio was roughly 30, while the average Price/Book in the S&P500 is 4.16.)
GameStop is a completely irrational investment. And sure enough, the price has been hammered this morning after the brokerage app RobinHood suspended GME trading.
But as the reddit users say, it’s not about the money. It’s personal. It’s emotional. They’re knowingly engaging in destructive (and self-destructive) behavior. They’re OK losing money– because they’re angry.
This is a sign of the times.
We saw explosive mob anger last year over social issues, political issues, health issues. Now we’re seeing it in the financial system.
The obvious theme here is that people are seriously angry. And it’s not going away. It’s building.
Personally I think a better strategy is to borrow from the 1983 movie War Games: “The only winning move is not to play.”

We saw all firsthand how the real market manipulators simply can restrict and manipulate stocks with a few keystrokes. This is an uncertain rich according to 1 Timothy 6:17. There is the saying about “staying at the poker table too long;” or insert any casino/arcade game in for a poker table. It basically means you did not stop when you were ahead, and lost it all in the process. This is one of the ways to interpret Proverbs 13:11, and why no Christian should gamble.
One of first The WinePress’ reports was covering the Trends Journal’s major trends for 2021. One of those trends was a growing youth revolution. Evaluating the statements and actions of the Reddit groups, this is an early fulfillment of this trend: and this is just getting things started. People just in general are reaching the breaking point of this insanity. If the draconian coronavirus chaos does not come to somewhat of an end soon, all hell may break loose.

There is a Christian whose children have a youtube vlog called The Texas Boys. His name is Jim, and he used to work in ‘Christian’ finance. He left it all, and his testimony is very interesting. It was just too crooked & taking peoples’ money without warning them what’s really coming when it was becoming painfully clear. Another fellow who is not a Christian, though he has a chaplaincy, has an interesting take on this event. He is a former DEA/DIA officer named Jeffrey Prather. He blew the whistle on the fake narrative that the Mexican cartels had guns because of the US back in the day, and they tried to destroy him. Now he does intel reports & teaches martial arts, evasive driving, gun skills, self-defense etc for individual police & military folks, and private citizens. With his intelligence background, he believes that the CCP used Reddit and small-timers for cover to make a coordinated attack and the fact that little people made money makes it credible with that segment. First up, I appreciate what you are doing. Thank you. Time to pass the baton on to those younger & able with what we found and faced leading up to these things. To a man the men listed above recognize Steven Anderson for what he is. When I compare between teachings and preachings with prayer & my King James Bible….I’ve gotten much better at understanding the world and not being so blindsided and naive, and I know where I stand doctrinally. When something comes up I’m uncertain about, I try to nail down what I can know for certain-sure from scripture…what are merely possibilities & then wait, watch & keep reading. God is good. We watched that social justice, irrational spirit sweep in to two churches with our jaws on the floor: they were so involved in ‘the dialogue’ that they literally were spellbound & you could not rationally engage them in real two-way communication dialogue. We got ‘loved out the door’ once. Fled another. Sadly departed the last because that government bond is going to kill them, but they won’t listen & the chaplaincy program makes it harder. We still support the missions portion & pastor who is reaching retirement age & was largely faithful, if politically unwise. God may have his plans for some of that & there are several seasoned elder men & missionaries there. It’s hard for men of that era to even imagine the depths of orchestrated, deep-rooted, & widespread evil embedded within & doing their ‘transformative’ work in once ‘free’ America. I understand to some degree how surreal it all seems & how fitting ‘conspiracy theorist’ because I remember free, secure America, too. But our first two church experiences and some school intrigue attacking our homeschooling sideways opened our eyes. I was hearing that to shut me up no matter what proofs I presented in the early ’00s at church#1. I give him slack & prayer. …. More accurate & Gospel oriented than what’s at Chick etc. that has a military propagandist flavor and definite lack of Gospel intent about it relating to Islam. Egyptian-born immigrant Usama Dakdok is useful on Quranic inconsistencies & so forth, has good English translation without ecumenical editorial cover, but he’s combative. Van Nattan reasons the Arab mind with his work & shows the same inconsistencies in & with the Gospel spirit….he begins showing the strong Arab presence that will be in the Kingdom from the tables of nations in Genesis & the prophets. Allah is not derived from the moon goddess, but the research too detailed to put here. It’s all craft & idolatry back to Babylon and corrupt Jewry kabbalah, Romanism etc. He documents with British museum and Arab artefacts, linguistical clues, the trade route stone carvings etc establishing trail back to Lil. Il. and Illat. Clearly supports biblical chronology and history.

Assailants would run in with boards etc hit, move back n crowd with others taking their place. Watchers at each corner. Drones in the air. About 15 cars they used in coordination with that to track & to block streets while their targets tried to withdraw. They know the legal arguments for clear & safe shot etc….and they coordinate accordingly. Not a random populist thing for certain sure. ….Folks in such cities need to work on finding way out while they can. They are looking to occupy E & W coast, certain cities (the ones election fraud and riots occurred in for starters)…and to use them for operating centers. Gates and other globalists buying large swatches of farmland also tactical fragmentation & blantifa operating centers, too, of & in mid-America as well as food strength. (One good thing about the Amish….their church backing helps them buy up land in our area & as long as there’s a market, and the land isn’t utterly poisoned: there will be food, though the prices may be an issue. Listening to interviews of Brig Gen Robert Spaulding on China with the Iranian immigrant entrepreneur at yt Valuetainment & missionary reports as they were cracking down & giving foreign English teaching preachers the boot line up as to Google, Big Tech, Pharma etc operating in China & setting up nightmare surveillance over their people. As do reports from Francis Boyle & others involved in bionanotechnology, biowarfare etc either from the legal watchdog or scientific whistleblower perspective on the college access and government departmental support opening many doors accessing sensitive technology both robbing & endangering the American people. Joe Mercola is about the best I’ve found for finding source material on those things. He’s definitely not a Christian, but libertarian type with cosmic humanist new age views.

via Spaulding: China’s access into our economy & stock exchange was so inside that they were getting a ‘pass’ from the reporting required of all American stocks exchanged due to CCP secrecy & diplomatic immunity until Trump ended that, at least. Probably only temporarily. As Spaulding put it, they were trading companies which due to the lack of reporting could have been nonexistent & fronts, & probably were. Internationalizing and opening up the internet, plus the law they passed through in waning days of the Obama admin legalizing domestic propaganda against the American people, also part of this whole set-up.

Currently he has a lawsuit with a group of lawyers & doctors pushing back against Ohio’s pandemic response that did result in some backing down. But the battle is never over. His research on the covid is online at an easy to find website. Old school libertarian liberal. Liberal talmudic etc. He had on Dr. Judith Reisman & actually cut her off on the sexuality issues because she recognizes the sodomite Nazi influence in the Kinsey fraud foisted on the American people: he stands for ‘love’.

What a mess and how beautiful heaven must be. God bless you in your work. Passing on regards to Bryan and Catharine, too. We have our differences on minor issues about the local church & are too old, indebted, & divided on our take concerning this country to take the steps they, and Jim’s family have taken, but applaud them, and encourage others to consider similar actions. We have stepped back from our church due to governmental interconnections there with military chaplaincy and access to juvenile attention centers, not to mention 501c3 & party line submission to, and denial of, this coup in all of its aspects. 🙂 Troubling times. But have taken what steps we can, are settled in heart & soul with peace, and watching with prayer. We will have to face what comes where we are. But we have been blessed by your work on the King James Bible & sorting out the issue of the rapture, continuing in the word, comparing arguments for other timing as so many move back toward Rome’s Augustinian views, now firmly convinced for myself & grateful.

I’ve always been intrigued by how, Hear O Israel, the LORD our God is one LORD. and the Son of God here & speaking with the Father in heaven both being true worked. I knew the King James translators kept the distinction of the plurality Je-ho-vah with a singular verb in LORD which also helped. If the goodman of the house had known at what hour the thief would break in to steal! Watchful sobriety these days, and gratefulness for God’s mercy thus far, undeserved the mix I was in & he pulled me out of. I knew it was ‘off’ but just couldn’t figure out what was going on in the churches, & why no amount of Bible or truth helped. He gave me a slip of the mask & admission by leadership so egregious & blasphemous that the gig was up, & the choice to separate clear. Praying for grace for us all, mercy & guidance for the trying times ahead.
