Jetpack, a free or subscription-based service and plugin for optimizing WordPress websites and blogs, has recently added an AI Assistant to help write and enhance the writing process for all WordPress users.

‘This powerful WordPress AI tool lets you generate diverse content on command, reducing the time and effort you spend on content creation,’ Jetpack says on their website for update 12.3.

Users simply can provide the AI a prompt and it will begin to write content for writers.

Users can also manipulate the tone of the writing by clicking a select handful of emojis that will direct the style of writing the AI will create. Options include things like formal, informal, optimistic, humorous, serious, provocative and more.

The AI can also be used to correct grammar and spelling mistakes.

The free version is only good for 20 unique uses, but for $10 a month users can use the AI limitlessly.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

As a WordPress user I had noticed that this AI option was added recently and had seen Jetpack announced it on their website.

But I mention this because we are again seeing the subtle replacement of physical writers and authors. Before too long actually writing and journalism will be replaced. I have already written about how some news agencies are actually using AI to write their reports, with more on the way, no doubt.

Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.

Ecclesiastes 7:29

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
