This goal and others like it are listed in the WEF’s report titled “Urban Mobility Scorecard Tool: Benchmarking the Transition to Sustainable Urban Mobility,” published last month in collaboration with Visa.
The paper suggests that by 2050 people are likely to travel twice as much in cities than they do now. If people do not, this would equate, they estimate, to be 2.1 billion cars, buses, and other vehicles on the streets, producing 4.6 billion tons of CO2.
The WEF goes on to advocate more shared and communal travel like car pooling and public buses, along with switching to electric and autonomous vehicles, the numbers would be lowered down to just 500 million by 2050; thus dramatically reducing our carbon emissions “by 80%,” the group claims.
This equates to a 1.6 billion decrease in vehicles, or just a hair above 76%.
The Gateway Pundit went on to note that the WEF says that ‘switching to electric vehicles isn’t enough to achieve these benefits. People need to combine it with more use of shared transport and changes to how our cities are designed. This means making cities more compact and easier to get around by walking or biking, and prioritizing public and shared transport.’
Moreover, LifeSite News reported:
The WEF recently ran a trial of its Urban Mobility Scorecard Tool and chose Buenos Aires, Argentina, Curitiba, Cota Rica, and Singapore as trial cities.
The white paper by the WEF names containing “the growth of private car use by boosting public transport, cycling, and shared mobility services” as a major “ambition area” for Buenos Aires.
The capital of Argentina is seeking to enhance sustainable mobility to keep people moving while offering more connected, integrated transport.
[The city is also] embracing new solutions to reduce private car dependency and provide a well-integrated, multimodal transport system.
Journalist Tim Hinchliffe, editor of The Sociable, pointed out that “[t]he Urban Mobility Scorecard Tool white paper gives further credence to the WEF’s prediction that by 2030 ‘You’ll own nothing. And you’ll be happy.’”
The WinePress has reported on some of the other exploits world leaders and coalition groups have pushed to war against the ‘climate crisis.’ In March, 2022, in the wake of the Russia-Ukraine war beginning roughly a month prior, the International Energy Agency published a list of things nations and people could do to reduce oil use; including “car-free Sundays,” increasing speed limits, more remote work, more carpooling, avoid business air travel, go electric, and more – things that the WEF had already promoted for years.
Months later a British newspaper began to publish the same ideas to reduce overall harmful emissions.
Other groups like the United Nations have said that used cars need to be removed from roads and scrapped, in a bid to meet these climate goals by 2030 and 2050.
Moreover, it was not but a week later after California implemented a bill that bans the sale of all new gas-powered cars by 2035, the state then started offering rebates to residents who own no car, including electric.
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
The only real way this is even possible is due to a massive culling in the world population. People, by and large, are not going to voluntarily get rid of their cars; so either some ridiculous gas crisis will need to be created, or an EMP bomb to zap the engines/computers, or just flat-out kill people to get rid of the cars.
The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.
Proverbs 12:5
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
