The United States Air Force has helped to honor international Pride month by posting a vector image of a serviceman saluting the Pride flag.
The banner was published on the Air Force’s official Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook pages.
But not everyone is happy with this. For example, a retired Air Force Officer commented and said he is ashamed to see what has become of the Air Force and military as a whole.
According to Breitbart, ‘The posts came after the Department of Defense hosted a Pride Month event earlier in the day at the Pentagon.’
‘At the Pentagon event, defense and military leaders — including one from the Space Force — bashed “anti-LGBTQ” legislation such as Florida’s law prohibiting teachers from discussing sexual orientation or gender identity with students in Kindergarten through third grade, or laws prohibiting kids from attending drag queen shows,’ Breitbart added.
Space Force Lt. Gen. DeAnna Burt decried the laws, saying:
Transformational cultural change requires leadership from the top and we do not have time to wait. Since January of this year, more than 400 anti-LGBTQ+ laws have been introduced at the state level. That number is rising and demonstrates a trend that could be dangerous for service members, their families, and the readiness of the force as a whole.
Though the U.S. military and DoD have made their shew of affection and affinity for Pride Month, the Navy has bought caught deleting some of their LGTBQIA+ themed logos and banners from their social media accounts, along with the Pentagon shutting down a drag show at an Air Force base.

The Air Force is by far the softest of the branches, the Army, Navy, and Coast Guard aren’t too far behind. The Marines and Special Forces seem to be the only branches that are still tough and hardcore, but how long that’ll last is anyone’s guess.
