Schoolchildren across the United States are reportedly becoming violent towards authority and teachers, assaulting and attacking them more and more frequently since the lockdowns and heavy-handed Covid-19 restrictions were implemented in 2020.

According to a recent Wall Street Journal article, in just this school year alone the 61,000-pupil Washoe County School District in Nevada has reported more than three dozen acts of criminal battery against staff, per the police reports, for example. Washoe County school board president Beth Smith said, “Most minutes of the school day everything is fine, but then there are these flashpoints of violence.”

Though the data is spotty at best, the WSJ says ‘violence against teachers has ratcheted up since the widespread return to in-person learning in 2021, and in some areas the problem is worse than it was prepandemic.’

‘From September through May of the current school year, the number of assault-related workers’ compensation claims filed at some 2,000 schools in different regions of the U.S. topped 1,350, a five-year high, according to claims and risk-management services firm Gallagher Bassett,’ the WSJ added. The average cost of these claims have also increased by 26% to roughly $6,700 compared with the same period in 2018-19.

We are witnessing the highest levels of frequency, severity and complexity for these kinds of assault claims when compared to the last four complete school calendar years.

Greg McKenna, public-sector practice leader at Gallagher Bassett, said

The American Psychological Association performed a wide-reaching survey of roughly 15,000 teachers and staff from July 2020 to June 2021, ‘which found 4% of teachers reported physical violence from students, and 49% of teachers said they wanted to quit or switch schools.’ Some teachers are injured from trying to intervene in fights some are directly targeted.

Kelly Vaillancourt Strobach, director of policy and advocacy at the National Association of School Psychologists, also commented on this alarming trend and believes greater access to therapy and counseling could help in some relief.

Across the board, we continue to see significant mental and behavioral health challenges with youth, some of which are manifesting in violence and aggression to fellow students and staff.

Washoe County School District has also seen a stark rise in bullying and fighting, with 7,418 violent events documented in just the first 110 days of the schoolyear, an 8% increase from 2018-2019.

A math teacher at Dilworth Middle School, also in Nevada, recalled a large fight she witnessed: “There were fists everywhere. One girl was on the ground. It was all three of them against each other. They were all mad at each other, going crazy.”

There’s constantly fights at our school. I don’t feel that safe there, but I’ve gotten used to it.

Emily Nobel, an eighth-grader at Dilworth, said

Kindergartners are also violently attacking teachers as well. ‘Washoe kindergarten teacher Liz O’Neal said this is the first year in her more than two-decade career that any students have hit her. Two 5-year-olds on numerous occasions punched her, and one stabbed her with pencils,’ the WSJ wrote. “I’m so scared every day when I go to school that it’s going to happen again. I’m on such heightened alert,” she said.

The WSJ also quotes Stephanie Tietjen, who instructs the most fierce students at Dilworth, those with documented behavior problems in the Social Intervention Program. ‘She said she fell to the floor breaking up a fight in her class last fall. During a phone interview in April, she related an assault by one of her students that day, one of several she said she has endured this school year,’ the outlet notes.

Luckily this kid isn’t very good at punching or else the day may have went a lot different. He did take a couple wild swings and got me a couple times.

Last year I filled out a police report where a student actually reared back and punched me in the chest.

She said she calmed him down and didn’t send him home, since leaving school was his aim.

In February The WinePress reported on an instance when a high schooler sucker punched her teacher after he took away his video games in class, and then proceeded to stomp her out.

[1] This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2 Timothy 3:1-5

To see what children have been reduced to, due to total neglect from parents, reinforcement and affirmation from families and schools; to all the drugs, crap food, pharmaceuticals they intake; from the brainrot from social media, video games, movies, and more – is just utterly disgusting, but describes what was prophesized to happen in the “last days.”

Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.

Proverbs 19:18

To the same end, not that I condone any of this, but you have these children who are so lost and hopeless they have given up on life so young, and the system and media perpetuates this type of behavior, because they have no foundation and are being thrown the kitchen sink of wickedness there way.

The end of the empire is here. A country cannot function when problems like this are now common.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

they had way better waste solutions , medicines , agriculture techniques, more sense of times and weather forecasting knowledge without the help of saltilites. pure brains in a lot of areas

  • “The end of the empire is here. A country cannot function when problems like this are now common.”

You are 100 percent CORRECT, Jacob!

America is on it’s final year and a half before its life movie ends with a grim ending and the credits roll.

  • It’s not surprising when you look at it closely. I mean, with all the toxins, wickedness, spoiling, and wicked teachings the youth has to deal with these days, it’s either going to end up totally corrupting them or making them so angry at their elders for failing them so much that they lash out. And by elders I’m namely referring to millennials on up, although it wouldn’t surprise me if those millennials end up joining on the lashing out in the end.

And this situation isn’t something that can be fixed with a simple band-aid and an apology, oh my no! It’s going to take a lot of repentance, prayer, and work to get these youth some level of normal life. But no, most people would rather just either sing “God Bless America” at the top of their lungs while playing “Good American” at their babel building or spend all day in frivolous activities such as…well…anything than the actual work that needs to be done to get this nation back on track. Both groups are going to be in for an utter shock once they go into eternity.

Ultimately,(And I could be wrong on this,) I don’t think the Lord is going to destroy America in a sudden blaze of destruction like he did with Sodom. Quite frankly, America doesn’t deserve that easy, quick way of destruction for one. And unlike Sodom which would have been beyond terrified by the falling fire, Americans are more likely to pull out their little pocket flags and wave them around, all while smiling and saying something to the tone of “Well at least my blessed nation went out with a blaze of glory.” Or again singing “God Bless America,” at the top of their lungs.

    • Jeremiah 18:18 Then said they, Come, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.
You nailed it, and what happened in Jeremiah’s day is the same thing people are saying now; ignoring all reality and have zero wish to repent of anything, but would rather chide and have us shut up instead.

    • Sharp, bold, and wise prediction.

I agree, if America’s destruction was like (SNAPS FINGER) that, they’d be saying “we went out with a BANG and we’re still the strongest most powerful nation on earth!”

Instead, it’ll be a gradual but obvious and nevertheless still devastating destruction. First, the economy goes bust and it’s Great Depression part 2. Then, it’ll be war, perhaps as a bonus, Russia will send some fighter jets to wreak havoc on a few US cities and it’ll make 9/11 seem like a walk in the mall.

As all this is happening, there’s poverty, chaos, martial law, riots, suicides, homicides, a few cities become police states (not regular police, the military) people stocking up for disasters and speaking of which: more hurricanes, blizzards and polar vortexes that freeze as far south as Monterrey, Mexico, and floods as well as earthquakes, and as a bonus: those that took the jibby-jabby start dropping like flies when the 5G is increased from time to time especially.
