“The truth is that it is not meat but an engineered product, which does not save the environment because it consumes more water and energy than many traditional farms, it does not help health because there is no guarantee that the chemicals used are safe for food consumption.”

In the midst of the endlessly waged Meat Wars, Italy has struck back and is now going against the grain of the rest of the West, by placing bans on insects in flour used for pasta and pizza, along with banning lab-grown and cell-cultured meats.

In January the European Union voted that mealworm larvae and house crickets are safe for human consumption, and could be ground into a powder and added to flours and other food products. Other types of crickets, locusts, and darkling beetle larvae were already permitted.

However it appears Italy is pushing back against this and is prohibiting some of these bugs from being consumed.

According to The Times, Italian legislators have banned these bug solutions from being added to flours used for pasta and pizza, and products that do use these buggy flours must display large lettering on the packaging indicating that it is separate from “typical” flour, Health Minister Orazio Schillaci explained.

Agriculture minister Francesco Lollobrigida said in a statement,

It’s fundamental that these flours are not confused with food made in Italy.

What the decrees provide for is a label with the origin of the product, the risks associated with consumption and the quantity of insect meal present, but we have also provided special shelves where they can be displayed inside the shops.

Those who want to choose crickets, larvae and locusts can go there and those who don’t want to, as I imagine most Italians, can keep away.

Francesco Lollobrigida

The law takes effect in June.

But Italy is taking things a step further and going after the faux lab-grown meats.

Yesterday the Italian government officially prohibits ‘food business operators to use, or even sell, trade, import, produce for export, administer or distribute for consumption, in the preparation of food, drinks and feed, food or feed consisting of, isolated or produced from cell cultures or from tissues derived from vertebrate animals,’ as explained by Italian paper Rai News.

Lollobrigida and Schillaci signed the bill – which had already collected roughly 500,000 signatures pledging to support the ban on cell-cultured meats.

Offenders can be fined anywhere from 10,000 to 60,000 euros ($10,835 – $65,000), ‘or 10% of the total annual turnover achieved in the last financial year before the infringement is ascertained, when this amount is greater than 60,000 euros,’ Rai News added. However, the cap penalty fee cannot exceed €150,000 ($162,500). The product(s) will be seized, and the business will be slapped with other legal paperwork, restricted access to loans, all for 1 to 3 years; along with the facility being forced to close for the same length of time.

Lollobrigida said in a statement:

With the ban on the production and marketing of synthetic meat, the government looks to protect the community.

We look to the protection of our community. As a government, we addressed the issue of quality that laboratory products do not guarantee. We wanted protect our culture and our tradition, including food and wine. If synthetic food production were to be imposed on the markets, there would be higher unemployment, more risks for biodiversity and products which, in our opinion, would not guarantee well-being. There is no persecutory attitude but a strong will to protect.

It is a significant law – Schillaci has specified – which is based on the precautionary principle because today there are no scientific studies on the effects of synthetic foods.

He said along with Schillaci present

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni also supports the act, stating:

We could only celebrate with our farmers a measure that puts Italy at the forefront, on the issue not only of defending excellence, a particularly important matter for us, but also on the issue of consumer protection.

Giorgia Meloni

The petition with hundreds of thousands of signatories is what led to this law’s passage, which promoted “Made In Italy” and to protect their natural food supply, while also pushing back against some of the claims that eating fake meat is better for the environment.

The lies of test food confirm that there is a strategy of the multinationals that, with skilled marketing operations, aim to modify natural food styles based on quality and tradition.

The truth is that it is not meat but an engineered product, which does not save the environment because it consumes more water and energy than many traditional farms, it does not help health because there is no guarantee that the chemicals used are safe for food consumption.

As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.

Proverbs 25:25

Some of the reports labeled these politicians “far-right” – this loaded term you call people when you don’t support stupidity and “progress.” Even so, as great news as this is, this, I figure, plays into the “ignite the right” movement: let the people thinking they are beating the Great Reset when it is actually a bait & switch. But, I am not sure if that is the case here. Let’s just hope it’s the Italians starting to get their act together!

[1] Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; [3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. [4] For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: [5] For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

1 Timothy 4:1-5

Even so, the attempts to get people to stop eating meat will not cease. Ultimately, I believe, as I have alluded to before, is that the true end game is to normalize cannibalism.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • This is a purposeful positioning of tradCat Catholics as ‘the only sane thing going’, drawing followers, sliming everything with a history of King James Bible freedom indeed. They’re always on about how much smarter Spain is about organic, too. And how Mexico is the ‘freest’, most organic thing going. YEAH, RIGHT. Just the cartel will kill you if you say differently, & Rome & cronies can work the campesinos DEAD, keeping them dumbed down, demoralized & busy, throwing a drunken ‘festival’ or ‘holy-day’ celebration at them (which real Christians get persecuted for not participating in, or ‘voluntarily’ contributing toward….because ‘generous’ Rome never pays for her own ‘charity’ & ‘celebrations’.

Problem is, they leave out the tyrannical & laity-impoverishing part of their ‘paradise’, & the fact that what they want to do is set up Jesuit style reduccione commune farms, mines, corporate endeavors once again. ‘Just look at all those ‘happy, healthy’ peasants!’….(try NOT SMILING ENOUGH, or avoiding the drugs & other dumb-dumb lobotomies & ‘treatments’: they’ll slow kill you by cutting off your social credit).

Don’t be deceived. Flee it all, & be as circumspect & independent of it as possible.
