The Drinks Business says that this new line of Monster is now available six U.S. states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, and Iowa. The drink should be available in all 50 by year’s end, co-CEO Rodney Sacks said.
Our alcohol innovation pipeline is robust with a number of additional innovative product lines currently under development. We look forward to sharing such additional beverage products at a later date.
Sacks said
‘Those worried about the mindboggling effect of adding alcohol to an already caffeine-laden drink (Monster Energy contains 165g of caffeine per 500ml can; the equivalent of four Espresso shots) can rest easy, as Monster claims there is zero caffeine in The Beast Unleashed,’ The Drinks Business wrote.
Our favorite brand Monster is about to turn 21. We figure why not celebrate the big day by making an adult beverage. We hit delete on the energy blend, cut out the caffeine, and ditched the sugar. Next, we brewed up the smoothest tasting alcohol ever and blended it with our tried and true flavors.

But there are a share of critics. As explained by Tequila Raiders:
In a recently published article titled “Big Soda’s Alcohol Drinks Worry Health Experts,” The New York Times compared Beast Unleashed to another recent launch, Hard Mountain Dew.
Mountain Dew, a subsidiary of Pepsi-Cola, and Monster Energy, a subsidiary of Coca-Cola, represent two sides of a well-funded coin that will be flooding the market with green-tinted alcohol drinks for years to come.
NYT writer Ted Alcorn argued that these drinks represent a worrying direction for the increasingly popular ready-to-drink beverage market. By using beloved brand names (whose offerings are readily available to children), big companies are able to pack up huge amounts of alcohol in an unsuspecting and uniquely marketable package.
Hard Mtn Dew exemplifies these trends. It is sugar- and caffeine-free, and taps into consumers’ connection to a brand they’ve known for years. Although the new product is 5 percent alcohol by volume, a 24-ounce can contain the equivalent of two standard drinks.
Said Alcorn.
Consumers are voicing the same concerns, albeit with a slightly different tone.
In a review titled “I Drank Hard Mountain Dew and Felt Like I Was Staring at God,” writer Alex Perry opened by saying, “I feel like the scientist at the beginning of a disaster movie who’s just discovered that something profoundly dangerous is hurtling towards all of us.”
Ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages have been exploding as of late; the category is even projected to outpace the popularity of hard seltzers by 2026. But as more consumers are exposed to these hybrid drinks, it’s difficult to predict where public opinion will fall.
Monster Energy itself has been criticized even longer after many online have pointed out that the three scratch marks bare a striking resemblance to the Hebrew symbol “vav,” which represents the number 6 in that language; which would imply that the logo is a veiled “666.”
AUTHOR COMENTARY
[1] And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. [2] And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. [16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: [17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. [18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Revelation 13:1-2, 16-18
Was never a fan of Monster: absurd amounts of sugar and chemicals; but when I learned about the implicit mark of the beast reference I definitely made sure to stay away. In general, do not drink so-called energy drinks: they are full of chemicals and the sugar will destroy your adrenals, on top of the crashes and swings they create.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

I avoid monster since I’ve learned that the “M” means 666. Sadly, I’m an energy drink drinker, BUT, I drink low or no calorie ones and zero sugar too such as: Celsius, Jocko, C4, Ryse, among others. I need help.
Also, Jacob:
I shared with ya an email: Brazil held a super blasphemous parade and a sandstorm hit a day or so after!
Change to black coffee, green tea. Or fast 3 days.
Those are good, too. I like drinking yerba mate.
I did drink monster after knowing about the reference.
And After I made a stance to not drink.
Now I have guilt and shame. Cant undrink it.
Just ask for forgiveness and repent.
1 John 1:9 & full context there, taking it to Christ, and continuing in the word are the answers to every addiction: the word will guide in the way & how to fight a good fight, giving grace & strength by the Spirit along the way as we believe & receive it. He is faithful, and war isn’t fun….but the Comforter is with us, & he will never leave nor forsake us though it may feel like it at times, & chastening is real. Humility admitting that we’re but animated dust, owing all to Christ as our creator, savior & king….who knows that we are but dust, yet calls us friends…helps in the fight, too. Even that & the chastening is a comfort to the believing, growing & maturing (and we never ‘arrive’ while yet in these vile bodies & corruptible flesh) saint because it’s evidence of son-ship, of not being a castaway, a spiritual bastard. Stumbling along the way reminds us like Peter where our real strength, hope & blessing lie…turning us, casting us, back toward Christ, the word & prayer. The saints are praying.

As for this hard liquor ‘Monster/Beast’ upper….it’s like the nazis’ use of cocaine for the shock troops, or any shamanistic craft preparation of crazed ‘warriors’…from the blue-painted up Celts to the Mau-mau to the Shawnee & Apache, the Yamomano, to the mystical preparations of the ‘crusaders’. It should pair real well with the pass for murder, rape and arson given to the 25-and-under without the word & not having their senses exercised to discern good and evil.
Yanomamo. Faltering fingers. Noting that occult craft & MYSTERY was involved WITH the fleshly & sensual drumming up (encouraging in evil as Psalm 64 speaks of), & the drugging….twice damned, encouraging blind hatred, rage, bitterness, bloodthirst, etc while opening souls to devils & allowing them to act through their flesh.

Some scripture references for those struggling with addiction, young or struggling in the faith: John is so rich, showing us Christ & exposing our spiritual enemy & flesh alike, introducing the Comforter. John 10-17. Psalm 119…Psalm 138 (before the ‘gods’…like those responsible for all addictive promotions & craft: visible & invisible)…turn to reading scripture, singing & speaking in hymns, songs & spiritual songs when temptation arises: quench the flesh & temptation, not the Spirit.

It’s a war: the devil has his hierarchy,doctrine, disciplines & war songs&marches, too. 2 Corinthians 10, Ephesians 4-6, Colossians 3.

Castaway and fighting: 1 Corinthians 9. Sons and spiritual bastards: Hebrews 12; fighting with the senses exercised: Hebrews 4&5. May it challenge the empty professor or immature to refocus, repent & seek the Lord, encourage the discouraged & strengthen the weary.

Ps 64:2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
Ps 64:3 Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
Ps 64:4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
Ps 64:5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
Ps 64:6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
