It was an honor and privilege to play in the NFL but it came at a regrettable cost I did not foresee. In my opinion, no amount of professional success or financial gain is worth avoidable chronic pain and disabilities. Godspeed to the draft class of 2023.

Without outright stating so, it’s pretty evident Jones is decrying the NFL’s approach to injury management. Of note, Jones missed the entire 2022 season for the Dolphins due to injury.
While hearing about injections of cortisone or cocktails of painkillers is hardly anything novel in the NFL, Jones’s critique of the NFL’s pain management philosophy is about as withering as it gets.
Even when star Dallas Cowboy linebacker Micah Parsons recently claimed that “95 percent” of the league pushes players to take painkillers to play through injury, it was largely viewed as more of a passing comment than a scathing critique.
Remember, the Dolphins lavished Jones with a 5-year, $82.5 million contract after he had four stellar seasons with the Cowboys. Of note, Jones is still under contract for two more seasons.

The NFL is such a corrupt organization, though I don’t think you need me to say the obvious. The athletes are just pawns and numbers, whom they can make astronomical profit off of, and plug them full of all kinds of drugs and such.
We of course have to address the elephant in the room and wonder if this had anything to do with the Covid “vaccines.” Do I think it was the cause? Based on what little evidence we have to go by, I think these injuries were built-up overtime from all these injuries and drugs the NFL plugged him with to keep their cash-cow churning; and the Covid death shot certainly did not help anything, that’s for sure.
Nevertheless, we mustn’t ignore the fact that young, healthy, and professional athletes have been seriously injured and have died since taking the shots.

True! Life is more than food and the body more than clothing. It’s very hard to enjoy watching professional sports when you KNOW the players involved are engaged in criminal acts such as beating their wives and girlfriends, doing/dealing drugs, and in general hurting other people.
Not only that, but for the most part, the games are fixed, so only the Las Vegas crowd profits from them. There’s a recent article (May 4) about the game rigging in the “Contendingfortruth” website. So that means there have been a lot of men who have come close to having heart attacks all over a game where the winning team is predetermined before it begins. The old Roman bread and circuses.
My last paycheck was $2500 for working 12 hours a week online. My sisters friend has been averaging 8k for months now and she works about 30 hours a week. I can’t believe how easy it was once I tried it out. The potential with this is endless.
