The Irish government plans to make 2023’s St Patrick’s Day festivities centered around “diversity” and “inclusivity,” and to have drag queens take center stage during the parades and parties, along with environmental sustainability awareness.
Arts Minister Catherine Martin explained that this year’s theme for the holiday will be “Mar a Chéile Sinn” (We Are One), calling upon everyone from all over the world to come to Dublin to celebrate unison while accepting everyone for who they are, according to the Irish Independent.
The theme ‘We Are One’ is about inclusivity and there’s no better time than St Patrick’s Day to have that welcoming message, that cead míle fáilte, that we are one as a people and to celebrate diversity too.
Martin explained
According to the St Patrick’s Festival website, Bígí linn, one of the organizers, said:
Our stories have bound us together as one global community – a community that traverses borders, enthrals and entrances, connects and inspires. A community that welcomes all voices with dignity and respect. One community, one planet, one human race, one great, big beating heart.
This March, we invite you to St. Patrick’s Festival in Dublin to help us celebrate our part and our place in our global community…
To share, to laugh, to speak, to sing, to dance, to perform, to participate, and to be together, as one, wherever you are in the world.
According to the itinerary of events, the opening night on March 16th will highlight LGTBQIA+ performers and drag queens. For example, “Cultúr Club will see St. Patrick’s Festival and LGBTQ+ Club promoters,” and the same venue will also feature “the first ever LGBTQ+ ‘Géilí’ with the fabulous PJ Kirby, followed by the Queen of Ireland herself.”
RTÉ Choice Music Prize-nominated Queer Irish artist Elaine Mai will also perform on stage with other artists.
Mother DJs present an all-night queer dance party in Tent Mór accompanied by the gorgeous OINK dancers and the drag fabulousity of Pixie Woo, Anziety, Vicky Volltz and Viola Gayvis.
The brilliant SEANCHOÍCHE (pronounced Shanna-Key-Huh), a storytelling night founded in Dublin will take over the Tent Beag stage featuring tales to enthral and entrance with Una Mullally, and for those who don’t want to leave the dancefloor, the Bandstand stage will feature a range of incredible DJs with drag, dancing and divilment on display throughout.
The website adds
Other events will greatly emphasis that Dublin, Ireland is an affirming and community for global citizens, and taking care of the environment. They wrote:
Embracing that unifying and inspirational theme of ONE, the National St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2023 will shine a light on all the goodness that surrounds us. The theme acts as a reminder that when we act with dignity and respect as ONE, we can protect each other and our wonderful world.
Ireland is known for its enduring traditions, culture and heritage, but our stories are also part of a unifying global culture, one which bonds us through music, storytelling, sport, nature and tradition, one which traverses borders and reminds us of our shared responsibility for the united care of our planet, protecting it for our future generations.
Richard Tierney, CEO of the St. Patrick’s Festival said in a statement: “I am especially looking forward to St. Patrick’s Festival 2023, my first at the helm of this fantastic festival celebrating the best of Irish culture today.
Orla Carroll, Director of Product Development at Fáilte Ireland, added that this year’s festivities “celebrates our culture, our people and our places.”
Seeing Clarke Square animated with such an extensive and eclectic cultural offering lifts the heart and demonstrates how our cultural spaces can support a multitude of artistic talent while engaging diverse communities.
Lynn Scarff, Director of the National Museum of Ireland, said in a statement
Recently the Irish government announced that they would be mandating their military forces would be forced to undergo education in gender and diversity bias, after reports of their being concerns of “masculine culture” in the Defence Forces.
Ireland is ahead of the game compared to its Western counterparts in criminalizing those who dare to challenge and pushback against the LGTBQIA+ community and other related things. Last year the country passed a hate crime law that allows so-called “bigots, racists, and homophobes” to be jailed for up to 5 years.

Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
Proverbs 16:5
Ireland and the rest of Europe have gone up in smoke. They are finished. The proliferation of sodomy has gotten astronomically out of control. Without touching on the many other factors like finances, just on this alone signifies that Ireland and other nations like it are operating in imminently borrowed time.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

Ireland is a hardcore Catholic nation, it’s as Catholic as Mexico, France, Argentina, et cetera. When Roman Catholicism comes to a city, state, or nation, sin, evil, and corruption always follow, and this is one of them.
MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH abominations of the earth which are from Roman Catholicism, and sodomy is one of them!
I just hope this parade will not be in Northern Ireland, which is not totally “hardcore” Catholic.
SADLY YOU ARE RIGHT…
staten island still doesn’t allow the sodomites to march in the st Patrick’s day parade, even though the rest of NYC allows the sodomites to do so. You can check it out.
Is there a physical address to send a donation to?
Why would you send a donation to them and what would you send them, anyway?
The snakes have returned to Ireland.
