Today users of the popular cash transfer app Zelle took to social media to report that the app was not properly functioning, with some claiming that thousands of dollars reportedly disappeared from their accounts along with other listed transactions.
Down Detector reported in a surge of outages earlier this day.
More specifically, it appears this was happening a lot with users who are affiliated with Bank of America. Twitter users reported that thousands of dollars went missing from their bank accounts, and when they tried to get ahold of them they got no response. The Street also inquired about these outages but received no correspondence in return.
There’s a Bank of America issue where zelle transfers after 1/9 arent being reflected in the balances of ur bank account. I almost lost my mind when I saw $2,000 was missing from my account. Not accepting calls because of “extenuating circumstances” is insane. CALL ME!!!
If you have Bank of America, go into the app, go to the zelle transfers and then go into your activity. Start screenshotting the transactions that are missing, the confirmation numbers & the amounts so you have a record of the transaction Cover your ass. #Zelle #bankofamerica.
If this is a hack issue and Bank of America is being honest then you just have a few screenshots. If Bank of America is stealing then you have your proof when it’s time to sue. There are no records of the zelle transfers except for in the zelle activity, not your bank activity

Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts took to Twitter to blast this “glitch.”
@BankofAmerica and @Zelle are apparently failing customers again, with money somehow disappearing from accounts. This should be fixed immediately and customers should be compensated. I’ve called out serious fraud issues on Zelle and this is their latest failure.

The Street noted: ‘The company is owned by Early Warning Services, a fintech company that is owned by a consortium of seven major U.S., banks, including JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Capital One, PNC, Truist, U.S. Bank, and Wells Fargo.’
Zelle has been around for about five years, and it has grown exponentially. The service in now available at more than 1,800 U.S. banks and credit unions, covering about 80% of all U.S. bank accounts.
In 2022, Early Warning said that Zelle was driving transactions at a rate of more than $1.6 billion a day, or $1 million a minute, according to American Banker.

Regulars of The WinePress know that I have been warning for a very long time that they need to keep very little in the banks in general, enough to pay bills and make online transactions. This is another shining example as to why. Moreover, dispersing funds across multiple banks might help as a hedge to potentially not lose as much if something like this happens.
To me, this screams of another Hegelian Dialectic move: Problem. Reaction. Solution. These “glitches” continue to reoccur these last several years, each one getting bigger and bigger. To me, this seems like a pilot run for a much bigger and orchestrated crash. In the fallout, CBDCs, social credit scores, and digital IDs will be promoted almost immediately.

[8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
