On January 10th, the popular outdoor/hunting/tool store formerly known as Big R Stores, will be closing all of their remaining store fronts.
The Great Lake based company has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The liquidation process has already begun and everything is on sale.
Their website posted this statement from the company’s Chairman and CEO, Matthew F. Whebbe:

Yet another business bites the dust. And this is a place that is close to where I live.
Continually, The WinePress rhetorically asks, where is this “v-shaped” recovery we were told that would happen? Wall Street keeps posting record highs, and Main Street keeps posting record woes for the real economy. More and more businesses, especially those in hospitality and retail, are getting decimated; and 2021 will be far worse as the dollar continually buys less and less, paychecks grow thinner, more lockdowns and restrictions, and so forth.
