It is dead, but we are not going to announce it… long story.”

The following report is by Just The News:

President Joe Biden, while speaking to anti-Islamic regime activists in November, admitted that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) or Iran Nuclear Deal, was effectively “dead” amid Tehran’s support of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and its brutal suppression of anti-government protesters.

Recently released footage depicts a Nov. 4 exchange between Biden and Iranian activists during which he made the remarks. Unverified Twitter account @DamonMaghsoudi posted the video.

“President Biden, would you please announce that JCPOA is dead? Can you just announce that?” asked one woman.

“No,” he replied. “A lot of reasons. It is dead, but we are not going to announce it… long story.” The woman then asserted that she did not want to see Washington make a deal with Tehran and that the Islamic clerics governing the country did not represent the people, to which Biden retorted “they’ll have a nuclear weapon they’ll represent.”

The Biden administration previously attempted to revive the 2015 JCPOA, which former President Barack Obama negotiated while Biden was his vice president. Former President Donald Trump, however, withdrew the U.S. from the agreement, arguing it was too lenient to Iran and would not prevent the regime from acquiring a nuclear weapon.

The U.S. State Department in October acknowledged that the deal had been placed on the backburner and that the agency was dedicating its efforts to a new arrangement with Tehran. At the time, however, the administration indicated it was “still interested in pursuing” talks with the regime.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • This is your first article where you didn’t add your commentary… is everything alright?

By the way the word ‘basest’ is not in the 1828 Webster’s nor in the modern one either. Had to outsource.
