This location will serve as the framework for future Shell stations called Shell Recharge.
The awnings overhanging each individual car slot are covered in solar panels to recharge the chargers themselves, which can charge a Tesla Model 3 in roughly 30 minutes and charge $40 dollars to do so.
Because of the wait times this station also has recreational booths, small grocery stores, coffee shops, car washes, and more.
Shell has already pledged to reduce their emissions and use of fossil fuels by 2030, which includes investing and transitioning into more electric.
We are investing around $1 billion every year in low-carbon energy such as charging for electric vehicles, hydrogen, biofuels and electricity generated by wind and solar power. We plan on increasing that to around $2 billion, provided that we can find the right commercial opportunities.
Shell said in a statement on their website
The Cool Down added, ‘Shell currently is the largest gas retailer in the world with tens of thousands of stations across the globe. So it has the immense potential to prevent the burning of its own planet-overheating dirty energy sources by erecting more of these gasless gas stations. It’s crucial that energy companies build a lot more of these chic refueling stations to help charge EVs. This London station is an example of what our future could look like.’
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
As I have explained in other reports concerning electric vehicles, the whole point behind manufacturers and governments pushing them are because they are designed to destabilize nations and economies, along with the many other green initiatives. The long term and real goal is to eliminate private ownership of vehicles: “you’ll own nothing and be happy.”

He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.
Job 12:23
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
