Per usual the new owner of Twitter and richest man in the world has graced the headlines yet again.
This time Musk claims that he will design a new alternative smart phone company if the Apple Store decides to no longer allow users to download the Twitter app on their phones and smart devices.
Conservative pundit Liz Wheeler asked on Twitter, “If Apple & Google boot Twitter from their app stores, should [Musk] produce his own smartphone? Half the country would happily ditch the biased, snooping iPhone & Android. The man builds rockets to Mars, a silly little smartphone should be easy, right?”
Musk responded with:
I certainly hope it does not come to that, but, yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone.
Wheeler, seemingly cheerleading for Musk, later asked in follow-up poll asking, “Would you switch to a tELONphone? Vote yes or no with your best pun for a name below.”
This speculation comes after the many sweeping changes Musk plans on making, some of which could break Apple’s terms of service agreements. Wired published a piece over two weeks ago that says Twitter will allow the broad monetization of all kinds of content, including ‘adult’ content.
Wire wrote: “The Washington Post reported that Elon Musk plans to fast-track a product to monetize adult content on Twitter, which he more or less confirmed on Saturday afternoon. To be clear, Musk’s apparent plans—the latest get-rich-quick scheme from the richest man on the planet—have nothing to do with supporting sex workers. Choosing to expand adult content at a moment of heightened scrutiny surrounding sex work and queer people is risky, especially amid reports that Musk plans to remove protections for trans people, a population that disproportionately overlaps with sex workers, on the platform.”
On top of this Phil Schiller, a longtime Apple marketing executive that leads the Apple Store, deleted his Twitter account a couple of days ago.
The WinePress reported several days ago some of the other changes he is making for Twitter, including the reinstatement and censorship of certain accounts, making it very clear that people can mostly post whatever it is that they want, but will get shadow banned and buried by the algorithms if it is not something Twitter wants the world to see.
Nevertheless, Musk once again turned heads per his recent announcement to provide amnesty for all accounts that are believed to have been wrongfully terminated and suspended.
On the 23rd Musk asked, “Should Twitter offer a general amnesty to suspended accounts, provided that they have not broken the law or engaged in egregious spam?” Of the over 3.1 million votes, a little over 72% said ‘yes.’ Musk then declared that “amnesty begins next week.”
Musk has not explained how this will be accomplished, who specifically will be rewarded, and how much.

This sly devil is trying to dangle carrots before everyone so they can be enticed to rejoin Twitter, and get sucked into the digital trap; whether it’s on a new smart phone or not. It’s just more media shenanigans at play with trad-Cat pundits like Wheeler shilling for Musk.
Musk has already made it clear that he wants to turn Twitter into the Chinese surveillance app WeChat, or use Twitter as the pathway to create a new umbrella app akin to WeChat.

My advice: stay away from Twitter. I never had Twitter to begin with, and I definitely don’t plan on joining anytime soon.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
