Updates and more!

One year ago to date save one, I noted how The WinePress already had over 1,000 articles published. Since that time, The WP has more than doubled that number, sitting at 2,457 articles officially published!

[12] And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; [13] Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. [14] And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. [15] This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. [16] Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. [17] Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Timothy 1:12-17

I’m not sure if “ironic” is the word to use here, but, it is interesting to see how everything has all panned out. When I was lost, blinded and in living in darkness, devoid of the truth and light, found in God’s word the King James Bible; I was watching copious amounts of ‘conspiracy’ videos night and day, and actually learning what was really going on in the real world, and not the fictious reality that had been presented before me. And while I have long since realized that most of those videos and articles I watched and read were total nonsense, a lot of that played a part in me coming to the Lord as a broken, sorrowful sinner, looking for the whole truth and seeking a new life in Christ; to which, I can exclaim that he most certainly gave me that! But, in an “ironic” twist, years later, here I am now instructing people with the truth of God’s perfect word, providing practical application to what the scriptures teach, whilst warning people on what is coming down the pike, what to do and so forth; rebuking and exposing the unfruitful works of darkness and nonsense designed to deceive people; while also planting those seeds to the secular world, to make them see the truth for what it is, and not the rhetoric pontificated in the “churches” of today. Needless to say, I am so thankful for this privilege that God has called me tp do, and called me to this ministry; and thankful that there are many who respect and honor my work.

But, as I said, perhaps it is a bit “ironic” that I am at where I am now, considering where I came from. Peradventure it seems that the fruit of true repentance has been made manifest in my life, not that I am making a boast of myself, but of the Lord: “My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad” (Psalm 34:2).

[10] For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. [11] For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

2 Corinthians 7:10-11

All this to say, thank you very much to everyone that follows The WinePress. Thank you to those who have shared these reports – many of which have reached and planted a LOT of seeds. Thank you to those who have chosen to support this ministry: it certainly means a lot, and do continue to kindly and humbly ask readers to help support this ministry monetarily. I do everything I can to produce and provide the best work and insights that I can, and your liberality does not go unnoticed by the Lord or by me, and any little bit helps. Most people will not help no matter what, and I pray God does not lay that to their charge (2 Timothy 4:16); but, I again do humbly ask, if you like you read and you like what this ministry stands for, I ask that you please try to help this ministry. As I have said before, I spend so that I can be spent of you.

[5] Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness. [6] But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. [7] Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. [8] And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: [9] (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. [10] Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.

2 Corinthians 9:5-10, 12:15

Now that I have gotten my intro out of the way – if you could not tell by the thumbnail, I am celebrating my physical birthday this weekend: my spiritual one was over a month ago.

Because of this, I will be out of the office for a couple of days, just so I can relax and decompress my brain for a bit and recuperate, and then get right back to work. I may still try to squeeze in one more report, but, I wanted to let readers why there will be a couple of days of no posts.

Moreover, I have a few more updates to announce:

Firstly, I have had a lot of people ask me about my books. They currently have been taken offline for purchase for most of this year.

My first book, “The Lord of Glory,” I will be releasing a new edition of the book, Lord willingly, sometime by the end of this month. The book will include a few new chapters, additional scriptures, reformatting somethings, cleanup any other errors, and so forth. So, be on the lookout for that. I will make an announcement when it is ready for purchase. I know a lot of people have been anticipating its rerelease, as am I.

Furthermore, I will also be bringing back my gospel booklet as well. I might make a few slight alterations to it, but it will be that same book that a many have said they really enjoyed handing out.

I also plan to release some new titles as well. I plan to convert my article, “The Forgotten Verses Of Salvation,” into a short booklet, along with John and Romans in there as well, too, perhaps, though I am not sure about that last part (as it all depends on the price to produce them). But, I have other titles I would to produce as well, but I shan’t spoil the surprises.

My first-ever book, “The Romans 10 Controversy,” for now, will be stay retired. Since my knowledge of the scriptures has vastly grown in the last four years, including my writing style and articulation, I would really like to just write an entire overhaul and rewrite it from scratch. This is not higher up on my to-do list right now, so it will still stay retired till further notice.

On that note, I also have two other very big announcements for The WinePress, that, again, Lord willingly, should be ready within the next couple of weeks or so. What they are, and I do not wish to say yet, but I am very excited to launch them, and I can’t imagine readers not likely them. So, stayed tuned for that.

That’s all I’ll say for now. Once again, I cannot thank you all enough for the love and support you have given to me, via your heartfelt prayers, messages of support and admonitions, donations, and voluntarily sharing and promoting my work. Were it not for you this ministry would not have touched so many people’s lives all over the world. The amount off international readership I receive never ceases to amaze me.

Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Galatians 6:18

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Congratulations, Jacob. Crazy times. Way older than you, and learned coming out of the public education & social services scene…knowing it was an entangling web of lies, not sure where the boundaries & worse falsehoods were. Got more than I bargained for! But starting with a few months of reading a chapter of Proverbs daily sure was a good start on both conviction, the Law our Schoolmaster, and God’s wisdom versus the world & Disney which was so prevalent in my generation & ‘follow your heart’. Even as a Christian in several formerly sound Bible teaching churches, as the new seminary philosophy & BIG came in…. getting to Jeremiah 17 & past my awe of elders who set me aback saying point blank how they ‘hated’ the book of Jeremiah took awhile.

Interesting. How did THAT work? …How could they so hate any part of the word of God? It was the war of their antichrist education & psych training, & watered down corrupt Bible, misled by profs into Jesuit sophistry with its subtle steering & control….the deceiving & being deceived of 2 Tim 3, and it was apparent which had won. So, it wasn’t so simple as I’d thought, this honoring of one’s elders & following the Lord rather than men. Back to the Bible…and finally the King James, by the grace of God & a whole lot of the RIGHT steering.

And I love that passage from 1 Timothy, ‘of whom I am chief’…the missing note in so much ‘Christian’ preaching and teaching today, ‘hating’ Jeremiah like those Jews of old did to their loss! Thanks for the truth. The texas boys – our family story is sharing some bite-sized pieces of truth on our world today, in a way helpful to young families trying to navigate these days.

  • Joyful and Happy Birthday, Brother Jacob! I am so glad you were born! Love and prayers in Christ Jesus, Pam
