Fauci And White House Call For Simultaneous Covid And Flu Shots, Stating ‘This Is Why God Gave Us Two Arms’

Yesterday, September 6th, the Biden Administration’s Covid-19 Response Team is now calling for Americans to not only get annual Covid booster shots, but also to simultaneously take an influenza shot at the same time.

The Response Team urges eligible Americans to receive one of the new updated bivalent mRNA Covid booster shots, courtesy of Pfizer and Moderna.

During the presser, Dr. Anthony Fauci explained that the state of the pandemonium has now evolved into taking a Covid booster once a year:

It is becoming increasingly clear that looking forward in the Covid-19 pandemic, in the absence of a dramatically different variant, we likely are moving towards a path with a vaccination cadence similar to that of the annual influenza vaccine – with annual updated Covid-19 shots, matched to the currently circulating strains for most of the population.

However, some particularly vulnerable groups may continue to need more frequent vaccination against Covid-19.

And so, my message to you is simple: Get your updated Covid-19 shot as soon as you are eligible, in order to protect yourself, your family, and your community against Covid-19 this fall and winter. I certainly will do so.

Fauci explained

Leading off from Fauci’s opening statements, coronavirus adviser Ashish Jha then went on to explain why Americans should get both get a flu and Covid shot at the same time.

So, barring any new variant curveballs – we’ve seen curveballs – but barring those variant curveballs, for a large majority of Americans, we are moving to a point to where a single annual Covid shot should provide a high degree of protection against serious illness all year. That’s an important milestone.

Now, let me be clear: for our highest-risk individuals – and here, I’m thinking about my elderly parents, for instance, who are in their eighties, or one of my close friends who recently had a liver transplantation – individuals like that may need more than annual protection, and we will ensure in this administration that they get whatever protection they need.

Now, I know over the past 18 months figuring out what you need and when you need it hasn’t always been super simple. That all changes. These new vaccines make it easy for us to think differently.

Now, we expect millions of people to get the shot this month as folks get back to school, get back to work, and get back into their regular routines after the summer.

And as the annual flu vaccination campaign kicks into high gear later this month and into early October, we expect millions will choose to get their Covid-19 shot at the same time, or over the course of the fall when people go into [the doctor’s] for routine checkups.

The good news is you can get both your flu shot and Covid shot at the same time. It’s actually a good idea. I really believe this is why God gave us two arms – one for the flu shot and one for the Covid shot.

But, I suspect Jha said what he said to purposefully get a rise out of the conservatives and professing Christian circles.

Yes, millions will line up for more shots, including flu shots, but certainly not the majority. But, the government has new product they need to peddle to you: that was their cringy sales pitch. Nevertheless, I had been warning that the media would probably attempt to really reignite the Covid War: this could be a part of that.
