It drew so much attention Fox News host Tucker Carlsen ripped on Mack during his nightly show.
The video was posted to Mack’s official TikTok account on Independence Day, where someone off camera could be heard saying, “That ass, that ass, that ass!” At the end of the video she exclaimed “Vote Senator Mack!”
The New York Post reported on the mixed response to this, some praising her and even saying they would move to Rhode Island because of her, while others were disgusted and scorned her actions, lamenting how far the U.S. has descended.
Mack defended her actions in a video statement to TMZ.
I am not going to apologize for being myself and for living a joyful life, and for being [an] unapologetically myself in every instance and enjoying a beautiful day off.
Mack said, describing herself as a “young queer black woman”
But that is not all. Since that 4th of July post, Mack is now using twerking to bring awareness for a slew of other issues.
