Chicago police will no longer be able to chase suspects over minor offenses.
Fox 23 Chicago explains that while under some circumstances an officer maybe allowed to give chase, it will undergo review from two levels of supervision. Officers will also have to fill out paperwork documenting their pursuit.
They can only give chase if the officer suspects the perpetrator is committing a felony, domestic battery, traffic offense that puts others in jeopardy. But the police still have the ability to decide if they don’t want to chase after a suspect.
It’s important that we make sure that violent dangerous people are dealt with, and sometimes that means you gotta pursue them, but I also want the officers to come home at night.

I highly advise getting out of the major cities, as these places are just hellholes of abominations. The criminality in this city is about to balloon sky-high, as the criminals are given more legal rights and protections, per usual. This law is essentially giving crooks the ability to do whatever they want. As soon as a cop approaches them, all they have to do is run and the police are basically forced to just stand there and eat donuts! Most cops will not pursue just so they can avoid the extra headaches of more paperwork and being reprimanded.
Even if Mayor Stinkfoot is no longer mayor (at it appears that will happen this upcoming election), she’ll just be replaced by another megalomaniac libtard in that city.

The city I live in isn’t as big as Chicago (Laredo, Texas) and they would know because a lot of people in Laredo are from Chicago. Chicago is a sister city of Laredo I think.
But I would love to vacate Laredo because it’s such an evil city with Roman Catholicism dominating it and its daughters Pentecostal/charismatic, baptist, and so forth as well-I pray someone provides me and others a way out of this Satan city!

You can pursue, but you’re still open to two layers of hierarchy second-guessing your decision, & DA’s favoring criminals & potentially incriminating YOU as a policemen. So…these officers are being told to illegitimately stand down and what…they are too sissified to arrest those impeding in their ability to fulfill their duties as an officer? Any officer who would not arrest a national official or anyone else for that matter who interfered in police maters without just cause is a coward and should be fired from the force in my book.
Course they’ll hide behind fears of criminal charges and the like, the only reason why they have to fear performing their duties is because society as a whole allowed these kinds of people to become above all of the law of the land. And rest assured, both those above the law and those who stood idly by and allowed it to happen will be judged harshly.

I hope you are not putting down policemen that has to abide by the laws to hold their jobs. They can still do good in felony cases. Not that I would be a policeman myself in these times. The threat of jail for doing your job is a terrible thing.
