But the Covid vaccines are “safe and effective”…

UPDATE 6/27: A federal appeals court has blocked the FDA’s move to prohibit the sale of Juuls and vaping products in the U.S., for now.

According to the Associated Press,

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit granted Juul’s request for a hold while the court reviews the case.

While Juul remains a top seller, its share of the U.S. e-cigarette market has dipped to about half. The company was widely blamed for a surge in underage vaping a few years ago, but a recent federal survey showed a drop in the teen vaping rate and a shift away from Juul’s products.

The following excerpts are from ABC News:

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced Thursday it is taking Juul Labs e-cigarettes and other products off the market.

It comes after the federal health agency completed a nearly two-year review of the manufacturer’s application to sell its vaping device and tobacco- and menthol-flavored pods.

Ultimately, the FDA decided to block Juul’s application.

Today’s action is further progress on the FDA’s commitment to ensuring that all e-cigarette and electronic nicotine delivery system products currently being marketed to consumers meet our public health standards. The agency has dedicated significant resources to review products from the companies that account for most of the U.S. market. We recognize these make up a significant part of the available products and many have played a disproportionate role in the rise in youth vaping.

FDA Commissioner Robert M. Califf said in a statement.

After hitting the market in the mid-2010s, Juul became the most popular brand of e-cigarettes available, in large part due to its wide variety of flavors, including creme, mango and mint.

Politicians and anti-tobacco advocates have accused the company of using these flavors — along with a sleek design resembling a USB flash drive — to market vaping to U.S. children and teenagers.

More than 2 million American middle and high school students used e-cigarettes in 2021 — with 8 in 10 students saying they use flavored e-cigarettes, according to the FDA.

The 2020 National Youth Tobacco Survey found Juul was the most popular e-cigarette brand used by adolescents with 25.4% of high school e-cigarette users and 35.1% of middle school users saying Juul was their most used brand.

Nicotine exposure from e-cigarettes can hinder brain development in adolescents and young adults, which can continue into the mid-20s, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Just one Juul pod contains as much nicotine as a pack of 20 traditional cigarettes, the manufacturer has said.

The CDC also says e-cigarettes can contain heavy metals and cancer-causing chemicals that can damage the lungs.

[34] For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery. [35] They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their belly prepareth deceit.

Job 15:34-35

I’m not here to defend vaping: it’s a really stupid and harmful trend; but for these hypocrites to try and act like they care about people’s health is hilarious, beyond just the fact that it took all these years for them to finally take them off the market, but as to how they tout the Covid death shots and more!

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Listen, this is a ministry website that was created to witness to the lost, edify the brethren, and keep people posted on what’s going on with in conjunction to the Scriptures!
This isn’t some sort of cyber-bulletin board where you can just post anything whenever, that’s soliciting and I suggest you take this elsewhere because this is not the place!

    • That might be a bot. If that’s the case, there’s nothing we could do unless WP blocks it.

I agree, the hypocrisy of these people, yet cigarettes are still on the market. Though vaping got me off cigarettes, it is a useless, harmful vice and trend. I hope they take it off the market here in Canada. I’ve been thinking about moving to a less-populated area where there are no vaping stores to escape this temptation, more importantly, to not get hit along with the lost with the Lord’s judgment.

      1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

      • I wanted to say that I don’t support vaping as the answer to get away from cigarette smoking. Jesus Christ is the only way to overcome all sins, getting genuinely saved. And abiding in the King James bible. Replacing a sinful, evil vice with another wicked vice is not the answer.

      • Jacob deleted the last post. I think he is busy typing up articles and researching, so he might be unable to always keep track of these spam posts. We could just endure it, or even post replies to it whenever it pops up warning people not to fall for it.

  • Funny how smokers will be so scared of a non-existing virus, they’ll put on a mask, yet will smoke in a public place and get others exposed to harmful chemicals that can cause cancer and death. This world is beyond kookoo!

  • They’re in the MO-ney, They’re in the MO-ney, They got a lot of what it takes to get along….. til Revelation 18, at least….and a terrible seduction & temptation to so many as they wink at the harm they cause. 1 Timothy 6 KJB. Thinking guys like Ramsey who still claims to be & advise ‘Christians’ to invest in this stuff & in mutual funds purposely mixing in this kind of stuff & mocking Christ & those Christians who still invest. And, MacArthur and crew purposely ignoring dispensations & saying you can take the mark & not be damned because God says that those who don’t provide for their families are worse than an infidel….. because they want to stay invested in such things & that comes first with them.

  • 1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

The money spam scams could cause brethren to err. Pls remove.
