Electricity Regulators Warn That Half Of America Faces Blackouts This Summer
Servicing the Midwest corridor from Minnesota to the Texas Panhandle, John Bear, CEO of Midcontinent Independent System Operator, said: “Unfortunately we’re moving in that direction quite quickly.”
Australia Is Now Banning Gas Connections To Lower Carbon Footprint As Energy Costs Skyrocket
The National Review writes, ‘Bear, however, cited the Biden Administration’s effort to transition America’s six energy grids to a decarbonized system as part of the problem. During a press briefing at the U.S. Energy Association in May, he noted that part of its efforts included the phasing out of fossil fuel units before new batteries are available. The White House has previously announced President Joe Biden’s long-term strategy to decarbonize the U.S. economy by 2050.’
The Federal Electricity Regulatory Commission meanwhile is warning that energy costs will soar by about 233% at Summer’s peak.

The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.
Proverbs 14:15
Whatever the reasons for blackouts, legitimate or falsified, or the potential for more cyber attack rhetoric; the fact is you need to be prepared for the potential of this happening, which means having things in place where you can cook and drink, do laundry, bathe, have lighting, heat/AC, etc.; without power for days on end.
Will they happen this summer, and especially this winter? Lord only knows, but I also know the media has to prime the masses to get them ready for the eventual thing, and preparing for that “rainy day” is always prudent.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

I am thinking to maybe purchase a solar energy powered battery with power sockets. Does anyone have any experience with it? Is it really worth it? Does it work well? Can it recharge fast?
Hi Cynthia! I am seriously thinking of getting a Solar-Generator either from Generark online-https://generark.com/collections/featured-products?cjevent=94f3e459e2da11ec831c00130a1c0e0b&cjdata=MXxOfDB8WXww
OR going out to a Home Depot about 10 miles from me.
Thanks! I’ll check it out!
They are expensive! Out here we have planned power outages, PG&E shuts down power in certain conditions to prevent wildfires, though without fail we still have fires from their equipment anyways. Some people got generators so they wouldn’t be without power during the shutdowns, other people thought generators were a good idea and so they stole the peoples generators, and then of course gas powered generators will be banned in Calif soon. I think it’s best to learn how to do without. I have never used AC out here, but I do use electric fans, which at certain point don’t do any good. If I end up dying of heat stroke so be it, there are no doubt worse ways to go and ultimately there is no better place to be than in heaven. I am trusting in Jesus to see me through it and bring me home.

Temperatures out here go over 100 degrees a lot in the summer, last summer we hit 109/110 three days in a row and 113 once. They do open cooling centers, but you can’t stay there forever, and they do provide some sort of assistance to people with medical needs whose life would be endangered if the power goes out. I don’t believe they care about the people as much as they do about their own liability. But if we have the extreme heat this summer that we had last summer and they cut off power, people will simply die.
I am definitely going to look into a Solar generator but then I reckon ol bill gates will have his demon buddies chemtrail my Arizona skies and block the sun!
I’ve been looking at solar, too. But each time I do, the cost and what it delivers turn out not to be justified. At least not for our needs, and more temperate weather here, including lots of unpredictable and prolonged cloud cover. Makes more sense for us to focus on lower cost shade tents & such, more outdoor to indoor alternatives if it comes to that extreme in the summer; and then there’s the concern of lowered safety & security. Nothing’s failsafe & all requires faith and the grace & help of God.

Winter is more of a concern for the pipe damage & so forth here….& even canned preserved foods are prone to freezing & breakage. We do have a gas-powered generator & propane heaters but fuel can become an issue of price & availability, you can only store so much, and it’s difficult to keep all pipes and people, food etc from freezing simultaneously in a prolonged outage.

According to plan if they do this, that is beyond the reach of most people. Such folly to allow the centralization that they did, making so many dependent and at risk. All by design & despite warning…..but God is not mocked, and he has some surprises for the designing sorcerers, and provides grace for his own facing what we must & as we go on with wisdom& circumspection, not quitting or growing weary of well-doing. Must fight to the end.

Had big plans for continuing gardening, outdoor laundry set-up etc this weekend but find myself ‘down in the back’ & frustrated currently, all things in place, no ability to finish the job for a few days at least….knowing that if I push it I’ll be down for weeks, not days. Frustrating like this winter’s sickness, but God got us through that with the fallout, bills, health restoration etc resolving in surprising ways….and trusting this likewise. I am frequently reminded of the early days of the cancer trial when the Lord first brought me to face death & mortality, forcing me to put my faith where my mouth was & finding it real & freeing. I suppose that God brings each one of his own to that point in his wisdom & grace which sometimes seems hard & bitter to us in this flesh & surrounded by the seductive ….but dying….world.
