Parts of the nation down under are taking big leaps to cease the use of fossil fuels and “dirty energy,” in a bid to lower emissions and people’s carbon footprint, at a time when the media is signaling that energy and electric costs are going to inflate even higher.

The Guardian writes, ‘A Victorian parliamentary committee has recommended the Andrews government consider a ban on gas connections in new homes to help accelerate the state’s transition to renewables. It also urged Victoria to commit to a cut-off date for the sale of new petrol, diesel and gas-fueled vehicles.’

This move would also prompt the Victorian government to remove regulations that require gas hook-ups be installed in new homes. It would also empower the government to consider banning gas connections on new residential homes.

They’re doing it partly just to comply with requirements, so it just seems like a no-brainer.

The requirement for a [gas] connection is redundant, because 20 years ago gas was a lower-emissions alternative to electricity for water and space heating in particular … but then along came reverse-cycle air conditioners, which are so much more efficient. And then we discovered renewables were cheaper than we thought they were going to be.

Transitioning to 100% renewable energy is the only thing that will shield Victorians from both unaffordable energy bills and runaway climate change.

Local Australian news stated,

It’s also recommended that it set a cutoff date for the sale of new petrol and diesel-powered cars, as the state moves towards zero emissions.

However at the same time Australian media has recently been warning and signaling that the electric bill is going to vastly increase, by nearly $200 in some cases. Companies are already signaling that they may send rebate and stimulus checks to offset some of the costs. Small businesses will face the worst of it, with estimated costs expected to rise as much as $460 a year.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

[11] Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: [12] To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things; [13] Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness; [14] Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;

Proverbs 2:11-14

No pun intended, but this is indeed gaslighting in the truest sense of the word. ‘Cut off your gas as we crank up your electric bill. Brilliant!’

This has the Agenda 2030 and Absolute Zero goals written all over it. As covered in the Absolute Zero Agenda report, I detailed the different steps that would be to control the masses:

  • Electric heat pumps replace gas boilers, and building retrofits (air tightness, insulation and external shading) expand rapidly.
  • Program to provide all interior heat with heat pumps and energy retrofits for all buildings.
  • Gas cookers phased out rapidly in favor of electric hobs and ovens. Fridges, freezers and washing machines become smaller.
  • Electrification of all appliances and reduction in size to cut power requirement.
  • Reduced demand for iron ore and limestone as blast furnace iron and cement reduces. Increased demand for materials for electrification.
  • Wind and solar supplies grow as rapidly as possible, with associated storage and distribution. Rapid expansion in electrification of end-uses.
  • Four-fold increase in renewable generation from 2020, all non-electrical motors and heaters phased out.
  • Rapid reduction in supply and use of all fossil fuels, except for oil for plastic production.
  • Fossil fuels completed phased out.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
